For most of the duration of 2015, my mother and I went on field trips and attended cultural seminars. In June of this year, we visited Vancouver, Canada. We stayed at the Gage Residences, which is located in the University of British Columbia. We explored the campus and city, visited a friend, and even rode the skytrain right up to the last stop. It was yet another fun trip for us. We also went back to Cebu in September. As a pre-birthday treat, my mother bought me tickets to see Rick Astley in concert when he visited my country. He's my favorite singer from the 80's. We had a blast during the concert, and my mother would scream, "Go Rick!" as he goofed around and joked onstage. This concert made her reminisce about her youth, too. After the concert, we traveled back to Singapore on my birthday, where she attended a Teaching of English as a Second Language seminar. We also continued our celebration there.

A few days after the incident, Connor said, "I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you two." Madison said, "It's okay, Connor. You needed to rest and get well." Alexandria said, "That's right. I do hope you're feeling better now." He said, "I am." Pretty soon, Connor was back in school, helping Madison shield Alexandria from bullies.
