Advice Question

I'm being abused... what can I do about it?

I'm being abused by my parents. Physically and emotionally. They both beat me with thick sticks (almost branches, really) and leave welts and bruises. My mom has even informed me that she hates me. I've tried to please them; I do good in my studies, I do my chores... Nothing works. I really cannot stand this for much longer. I've thought seriously about suicide or running away, but neither of those options sound like a good idea. I've just turned 14 years old, so it'd be another four years before I could move out, and I don't know if I can hold out that long. I don't have any relatives or friends nearby to go to. I'm homeschooled, so I can't talk to teachers or counselors about it. I'm afraid that if I go calling Child Protection Services or relatives about it my parents would find out and beat me even more, and nothing would be done about it anyway. Please, I need help.

Oh I'm really sorry to hear that! Under your circumstances, I'd say to call the police. They'd come pretty quickly before your parents even find out (most likely) and the police will have contact will councillors, social workers etc. that will help you out.
Don't worry something will be done about it!

I agree - you have to let the authorities know. If you cannot use the phone, use the internet to contact them.
