Erik Steele
MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI-- Kaleidoscope Koi Entertainment has just announced actor/filmmaker Erik Steele in the lead role of the forthcoming Aladdin 3477 movie, set to shoot this summer. The live-action feature film is based on the classic Arabian Nights tale, set 1,500 years in the future and is written and directed by renown Artist Matt Busch. The epic sci-fi adventure isn't a musical like Disney’s Aladdin, nor is it animated, but said to look more like Star Wars and set in futuristic Asia. Preliminary filming for background plates have already been shot in India, Thailand, the Kingdom of Cambodia, China, and Switzerland.

Well over 10,000 applicants from around the world submitted to the Aladdin 3477 casting call this past January, with a large percentage of actors hoping to nab the title role. While Busch set out to cast an unknown as everyone's favorite charming thief, Erik Steele has paid his dues working in many aspects of the entertainment industry on both sides of the camera. Busch elaborates, "Erik is one of those creative talents that should have been a household name years ago, so we're incredibly lucky to have him now before the rest of the world discovers...

Aladdin 3477 - Now in production!
Production begins in India this month on the Aladdin 3477 movie, before moving on to numerous exotic locales throughout Southern Asia. Loosely adapted from the classic Arabian Nights tale, Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp, this live-action version is set 1,500 years into the future. The movie is directed by Star Wars artist Matt Busch and is produced by Kaleidoscope Koi Entertainment, LLC.

This futuristic version of Aladdin will be nothing like Disney's 1992 animated feature. "There's no singing and no dancing." comments Busch, "This version stems more from the original story, which is much darker in tone. The visuals will look more like Star Wars, mixed with Eastern culture, Hindu mythology and Asian design motifs." Busch plans to shoot as much live-action elements as possible before compositing a slew of practical and CG effects.

The first step in amassing such an epic project will be pre-production filming overseas for nearly a month. Busch elaborates, "This trip will first serve as inspiration in refining the script. Second, to scout locations for future shooting. Last but not least, we'll be filming background plates to work with for compositing and...

Before my favourite Aladdin film, The Return of Jafar came out in 1994, This classic first Aladdin film came out in 1992. This is a story of when Aladdin first met Jasmine, The Genie and One of my favourite disney villains of all time, Jafar. Jafar, Grand Vizier to the Sultan of Agrabah, is attempting to retrieve a magical oil lamp containing a genie from the Cave of Wonders. After seeing a petty thief's failed attempt to enter the cave, Jafar and his parrot, Iago, learn that only a "Diamond in the Rough" can enter the cave.

Jasmine, the Sultan's daughter, frustrated with her life in the palace, flees to Agrabah's marketplace. There she meets street rat Aladdin and his monkey, Abu. The two discover they have a lot in common. When Aladdin is detained for thievery, Jasmine orders him released, but Jafar lies to her that Aladdin has been executed.

Disguised as an elder, Jafar releases Aladdin and Abu from prison and leads them to the Cave of Wonders. The tiger-shaped head of the cave says to touch nothing but the lamp. Aladdin and Abu enter the cave, where a magic carpet guides them to the lamp. Abu's attempt to steal a ruby causes the cave to start...

This is a fanfiction that I began and would appreciate it if people could read this first chapter and tell me if they think I should continue :-)

Aladdin: Indescribable Feeling

Chapter 1

Aladdin held his breath and gritted his teeth as he heaved himself over the palace wall and landed softly on the lush grass of the majestic garden which covered many acres. As he tiptoed swiftly but lightly; seeking out anything that offered concealment: the trees, the water fountain, he prayed that the damn tiger wouldn't suddenly appear and discover him. He had to get into the palace without being discovered otherwise he would really be in for it. He could just imagine the inquisition, the cold stare and the steely tone as his activities were picked apart and scrutinised and then of course there would be the punishment.............He shook his head abruptly and regained his focus on getting into the palace without being rumbled. He knew he was cutting it fine and hadn't got much time left but unforeseen circumstances had delayed his journey to the palace so he would just have to make the most of the situation as best he could. Halfway across...

I fell in love last night.
He took me on a magical flight.
We flew around under the stars,
We could do anything; the night was ours.
I fell for him right there on that magic carpet.
I know this is a feeling I will never forget.
I finally found a handsome Prince.
Now everything in my life makes sense.
With him is where I belong.
I know what I’m feeling isn’t wrong.
I want to be with him for always.
When I’m with him I’m in a daze.
My future is beginning to unfurl,
All because he introduced me to a whole new world.

“Great. Here they come again.” Gloria thought to herself. She was referring to the girls and boys who would always wait outside the school for her. They always bullied & harassed her. She never knew why. She wasn’t ugly. She had black hair down to her sides that was straight & hazel-brown-green eyes. She had her natural brown Mexican skin. She wasn’t a jerk either. She was just shy & quiet. I guess the children considered her an enemy just for not being like them. She wasn’t normal.

“Hello Gloria. Here again for your daily taunting?” Jessica asked her.

Gloria tried to avoid her. Jessica has always been a total bitch to her. Ever since Gloria arrived as a transferred student that year Jessica vowed to make her high school life as miserable as she could.

“What’s the matter slut? Can’t talk from your nightly sucking?” Jessica asked referring to how Gloria always dressed. She would wear gothic/punk styles. To Gloria, anyone who wasn’t a prep, liked bright colors, & didn’t dress in Hollister from head to toe was considered the main enemy.

Aladdin
Aladdin won 2 oscars back in 1992. It is Walt Diseny's 31st animated feature and it tells the story about a street rat named Aladdin(Voiced by Scott Weinger and sung by Brad Kane)who has a pet monkey named Abu. One day while in the market place he meets and falls in love with an arabian princess named Jasmine(voiced by Linda Larkin) who's father the sultan wants her to marry a prince but she doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't love. Meanwhile an evil sultan named Jafar wants the genie lamp which is kept in a magic cave so that he can take over Jasmine's father's kingdom. The Genie in fact is voiced by Robin Williams who really stealed the movie as the wacky blue genie who befriends Aladdin who goes into the cave after Jafar poses as an old man and wants the lamp for himself.

With great music from Alan Menkina & Tim Rice and a brillant cast from funnyman Robin Williams who sings a song called A friend like me which is hilarious . Aladdin is definetly a must have for all disney lovers like myself.
