I was half asleep half awake lying on my stomach. I could feel Jason’s cold fingers slowly moving up and down my bare back. He was humming a lullaby but I didn’t know what it was.
“Do you still want to know my secret?” he asked in a soothing tone. It didn’t help that his voice so soft that it made it harder to stay awake. “Sure.” I said moving closer to him.
“I’ve none you before you were born.” He paused a second. Probably to make sure I wasn’t going to freak out. “I was friends with your mother before you were even born before your mother met your...
As we left the apartment building the sun hit us like a beam of light. I look to the side, I saw Jason putting his hand in the face of the sun like he was going to die from it.
“Are you okay?” I asked concerned that it was to much for him. He looked down at me and smiled. “Ya I’m go, I just have to get my sunglasses on. My eyes are just really sensitive to the light.” I nodded waiting patiently for him. He slipped on a pare of black sunglasses. The kind you see know a days on celebrities when the go out. “Nice.” I said with a warming smiled. He looked back down at me and...
I could hear the TV on and I could smell the coffee. I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming or if I was just hallucinating over the fact that the man that has been stalking me, for what seems like my whole life, was in my apartment.
I must be dreaming, my subconscious must have heard the TV on and brought that thought into my dream along with the coffee I made yesterday morning it must still be stuck in the air and did the same to my dream.
I stretched my muscles, I was really stiff. It must have been because I got a lot of exercise...
“Ouch!” last night I was out to long and by the time I came home I was exhausted so I just slept on my mattress that laid on the floor.
I woke to the waves crashing onto the shore and the sun light touching my eyes. Not realizing I was on the edge of my bed, I stretched and landed on the cold floor to my two room apartment.
I got off the floor grabbing my silk bathrobe that was sitting on top of the box next to my mattress. I walked over to my living room windows and opened the shades up to reveal a beautiful ocean. The sky was...
“Somebody turn the lights on, Somebody tell me what’s wrong I’d be lying if I told you losing you was something I could handle…” I had been driving for about two and a half hours the highways were clear I had the windows all the way done singing along with my I-pod.
In a matter of seconds I could see cars slowing down on the highway in Kansas and as the cars started to stop I could see a long line of cars in front of me. I can’t believe this I was finally going to make it to the next state before the traffic started happening.
This story was based upon Moonlight in a way.
I’m finally on my own, alone. I just turned eighteen a couple of months ago and I got a job offer in Los Angeles California. I’ve been writing since I could write and when I reached junior high I joined the new paper and I did the same in high school and in my second year of high school I was offered a job as a reported for the Salem New Hampshire news paper and I accepted. My job threw the years had grown and now that I’m done high school I can take the job offer.
