I couldn't take on the entire pack myself,I would be slaughtered and might get Ezio and Maia killed in the process.I needed more wolves who are willing to stand up to the coming storm.And I knew just the place...the Western pack."Ok,all I need are a couple of brave wolves who will fight the Snow Wolves and save my friends and so you guys and the other packs can get back to doing,whatever you guys were gonna do."I explained to Winston and Eve."And if your pack helps,it'll give more packs from places other than Canada reason to unify all wolf packs."I explained."Well it does seem like a victory for the packs but our priority is to retake Jasper."Winston replied.The encampment seemed small,but maybe because of all the wolves who were also forced out of Jasper,but no wolves from the North or South,maybe Ezio and Maia weren't the only wolves to be abducted."We're sorry Connor,but we have no Alphas or Betas to help you.They're all out trying to retake the valley and the rest of Jasper."Eve explained"All we have are injured wolves and Omegas,I think that you should help take Jasper back.Then we could help your friends."She said."Thank you for your time,I wish you luck in taking back your home.I guess I'll just have to find one elsewhere."I said as I walked out of their cave and back into the encampment."Well,there goes that plan,I don't what's happening to Ezio or Maia,but I won't let them stay captive for long,even if going right now on a one-way suicide mission is my only option,then I hope they'll be abe to win this without me."
I approached the territory of the Snow Wolves the sentries on duty didn't react when I walked toward them.They seemed to be expecting me,so I knew that attacking them was out of the question.I walked past the monstrous cavern they lived in and up the hill to their leader."Hold it right there,Connor!"he said.his back was turned so I stopped."Why do you come here,Lone Wolf?I would like to know before I dispose of you and your friends!"he demanded."I came here for my friends,and I will leave with them!"I yelled.He only chuckled."Ah,I see but here's the deal.You tell me where Tony is and I'll give your your friends.But you will have to die in order for them to live,your sacrifice might inspire the packs to fight harder,and ultimately make their ranks be spread thin.But no matter what happens,the Snow Wolves will win the fight,we will claim dominion over all wolves in this side of the world,and they will all answer to Lord Arnik!"he yelled out loud.He stamped his paw twice and two sentries dragged two terrified looking wolves out of a small cave.It was Ezio and Maia."You will let them go right andnow!"I demanded.I was loosing patience,he had my friends captive and I intended on getting them back."Or you'll do what,Lone Wolf.Are they your new pack?I hope they last as long as your last one,but you wouldn't remember,you were just a helpless pup.Your parents were the Alphas of the pack,your pack had waged war against mine for years and it seems I haven't cleansed the world of it just yet."he mocked.And now I know why I've never seen my oack or even heard from them my entire life,and now I know why and I swear I'll avenge them."When you fall,it will be me who kills you,for what you've done to these packs here and for what you've done in the past.I'm the ghost that's come back to haunt you!"I yelled."Why should I fear a young wolf like you,your parents couldn't stop me then,what makes you think you can stop me now!?"he questioned.He stepped forward to attack."Because he's not alone!"a voice yelled.I turned to see a brown wolf that was an Alpha by the looks of it.I wondered who was retaking the valley but I was just glad I had reinforcements."Let's see who the lone wolf is now Arnik!"I taunted."You may have one the battle,but we will crush you in the war!"Arnik yelled as he ran,all the Snow Wolves ran too,except for Jorge,he had returned unsuccessful from the search."Surrender Jorge,there is way too many of us!"I demanded."If it's all the same to you,I would be honored to join you in the fight!"Jorge replied."I accept,welcome aboard!"I yelled.
We may have had a victory today,but how long would it take for our defeat?
