AHS: Cult star Billy Eichner teases show's 'absolutely insane' post-Trump America 

Billy Eichner, making his debut in Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology with the forthcoming season, told Seth Meyers how it’ll be a creepy concoction of sex, violence, and surrealism set within a post-Trump America.

“It’s absolutely insane. It’s so crazy,” he prefaced to the

“This is the biggest departure that I think most people have seen [from me],” the comedian behind

added, “and it’s serious. There are some darkly funny moments, but it’s mostly serious and violent and sexual and all the things people have always wanted to see from me.”

Fans eagerly gobbling up all the latest video riddles and first-look imagery already spotted Eichner as his character, Harrison Wilton. Also in the cast are Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson, Cheyenne Jackson as Dr. Rudy Vincent, Alison Pill as Ivy Mayfair Richards, Colton Haynes as Detective Samuels, Lena Dunham, and other 

alums like Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Emma Roberts.

The audience giggled when Eichner said he was “sworn to secrecy” but then confirmed that the most recent presidential election inspired

. “It starts on election night and then you see the fallout from that,” he said, “and it is a gory, fantasy, violent, sexual, surreal take on post-Trump America.”
