So this is an essay I wrote for school about why people shouldn't kill animals for their fur. I hope you like it! =)

Did you know 100 chinchillas are killed to make ONE fur coat? Or 55 wild mink? Or 18 red foxes? These are all things that not happen. But it's not only that, it is also the way that they are killed.
Thousands of beavers, cheetahs, cats, dogs, chinchillas, foxes, minks, rabbits, raccoons, seals, and bears are killed for their fur every year. Some are raised for it. They are kept in cramp spaces, and some are forced into bags or boxes to die of oxygen. Others get an injection. Animals killed in the wild usually get caught in a jaw leghold trap. It snaps down on an unsuspecting animal, sometimes even breaking a limb. They usually freeze to death or get attacked from predators from whom they can't flee. If they are still alive when the trapper returns to the scene, they are strangled to death. Companion animals, such as dogs and cats, have been killed after wandering into a trap.

RIP Unknown Rouge Cat

Today on 3/11/10, 8’ o clock Peakhurst Sydney NSW Australia. I’ve let my dog do his “business” on the front lawn. While I was waiting patently I say something laying in front of my next day neighbours front lawn. As curiosity got the best of me I slowly approached to my neighbours lawn and now I’ve regretted to be curious. What I say then and there was a cat, not just a, cat but a lifeless cat ad to make things worst I‘ve seen the cat around my area before. I quickly got the dog inside, when he finished marking his territory and got my mum to come outside with me about the cat. As we slowly approached it I gently poked the cat. No response, not even a twitch. As a put my hand to feel any body temperature, all I felt was a cold corpse as cold as tonight’s wind. I gently stroked the orange harmonious fur that was slowly disappearing with the dark. There was no trace blood, so it was either ran over or stomped to death, but the only evidence I found was a squashed stomach and lungs that had no trapped air, no flesh was torn or traces of a foot print or a tire mark.

RHINOS
I love all animals of the world. They are all beautiful and wonderfully, uniquely made. Every animal has a purpose and role to play on Earth. But my favorite animal would be the rhinoceros. Many people out there think they're ugly, dirty, bad-tempered, and they just don't care. But I love them - they are so unique, cool, primitive, prehistoric creatures that have been on Earth for thousands of years. There used to be more than 100 rhino species that lived on almost all continents but Antarctica, but due to climate change and hunting, only 5 remain:
1. The Black Rhino (Diceros bicornis) - it lives in Africa, and was once widespread (in 1960, there were 77,000!) but because of horrible poaching, they are listed as a Critically Endangered species and only about 3,000 remain. Most people claim them to be 'bad-tempered', but they are NOT! Rhinos have excellent sense of smell and hearing, but poor eyesight, and they tend to get spooked (scared) easily; the Black Rhino gets scared easily the most of all the other rhino species; not that it's mean! Rhinos in general, despite its huge size, are shy, quiet, non-predatory, peaceful, and herbivorous animals that do not like...
