Avatar: The Last Airbender Article: Why I Ship TyZula

I feel like TyZula is a bit of a controversial ship, people either love it or they hate it. So I wanted to explain what has me shipping TyZula.

First and foremost is the silly and minor fact that they look good together. Azula and Tylee are quite opposites right down to their looks. Azula is a more mature, sharper beauty. Where TyLee is has softer, cuter, more-baby like features. And I think that those opposite features really work.

Similarly I think their personalities compliment each other as well. TyLee is very sweet and caring and optimistic. Azula is more goal-oriented and a realist. For this I think that the two could help each other out and pick make up for what the other lacks. Azula can offer TyLee some protection and defending; no one would screw with her or try to take advantage of her with Azula around. Likewise Azula could make sure TyLee's naive nature doesn't get her hurt. Likewise TyLee can help Azula become a better person. She could probably help her to relax a little as well. Heaven knows Azula needs that. I also feel like TyLee would be one of the most accepting and forgiving people in Azula's life.

I also think that they’d also be a really humorous pair between the ‘sweet sugar cake’ and Azula’s awkwardness.

Not to mention they’ve known each other for a long while and they have a very solid and complex canon relationship. They wouldn't be this cliche boring couple with no problems. They have their demons to work through and that negative history to overcome. Which if they work things out in the future would make for a really awesome 'yeah she has flaws and we fought, but I love her anyways' thing.

Characters themselves aside, the ship has wonderful fanart and fanfics. In general fellow TyZulashippers have been awesome to talk to over on tumblr (tbh most of the Avatar fandom is awesome though). In short, hop aboard the S.S TyZula, we have dank memes and actual talent here!

Overall I think that they'd just be a very cute and sweet couple. An unconventional one at that.

zanhar1 Yeah I love Avatar drawings as well. :P And yup, ship as in relationship. I'm not the artist so I can't say lol but it could be. xP

Zukos_bride I liked it because maybe Azula does have some special feeling for Ty Lee maybe in friendship or relationship but its headcanon that Ty Lee is more important to her than other characters in the beach she actually apologized to Ty Lee for hurting her feelings its one of the few times Azula lets empathy be shown in her and she even admits she felt jealous of Ty Lee apologizing and admitting jealousy are not common traits in Azula envy is a form of admiration and also in the boiling rock when Azula is about to kill Mai for betraying her but Ty Lee steps in she doesn't kill Ty Lee but decides to have them imprisoned.

zanhar1 That's one of the reasons why I ship it. TyLee is one of the very few people who Azula seemed to sympathize with and apologize to when she hurt her. Like you said she even swallowed her pride for TyLee and admitted that she was jealous. She doesn't really know how to show love very well but she seemed to try for TyLee.

sleepynonbender What do you think of mailee?

zanhar1 Tbh it's not my favorite mostly because I'm a really big fan of Azula and a lot of the art and fics I've seen so far either demonize Azula or just cast her off. I like TyZula and Maizula. Basically I don't hate it and how I feel about it really kind of just depends how the artist or fic writer conveys the ship.

Bending in the Present 7

Everything for the next 3 days was normal even for a bender. I grew closer to my buds, we got into text arguments on the Avatar series, on silly stuff like Kataang or Zutara. My grades were going good, I didn't do as many big stunts just small things here and there. I kept thinking of the talk I had with Aang 3 days ago. I wasn't sure what to expect, how long did I have to wait to meet the Avatar?? However it was Saturday and I wasn't about to have this... strange duty interfere with me and a Barnes and Noble....

10 years from now Zuko the fire lord, and katara, his wife are having tea in the garden. They have a set of triplets, 3 boys. And a daughter who is the eldest and named Kida. The triplets are Zuko Jr., Kuzon, and Lee. Kida is a fire bender like her father. The problem with the 9 year old boys is that zuko and Kuzon are fire benders, while Lee is a water bender like his mother.

Being the runt of the family, Lee was always getting beat up by his older brothers Zuko and Kuzon. At least his sister and parents were kind to him. Thing is, Kida, Lee's older sister, was kind to everyone, and his mother...

As I was walking through the park, I spot a guy staring at me. It was weird because I thought he was a creep, but as I got a better look at him, he wasn't.
He looked about my age, a short ponytail, white shirt with a blue hoodie jacket with cut off sleeves, jeans, and adias flip flops with socks underneath. He kept staring and smiling at me, I smiled back.

AWWWWWWW!! everybody said(sarcasticaly) as azula was shipped away.Firelord Zuko and firelordess Mai are going to be representing there two kids, there daughter aiko(8)and there son mazu(10)for there coorination as prince and princess of the fire nation. Meanwhile... avatar Aang and his wife katara are excited to celebrate there childrens brithday,twins Ataran(girl)and katang(boy)are excited to be turning 10 TODAY.In Ba Sing Se things are heating up while Suki and Sokka are teacing there two girls Oukki(14)and Siokka(12)to be kioshi warriors.

Toph the best earth bender around is excited to be getting married to Jet from the freedom fighters.She is exstreemly nervous because she think he only likes her for bending.That is not true he loves her... and the get married at the south pole while riding appa!!(she ussally get6s scared because she is blind)

SO THEY ALL LIVED THERE LIVES AS NOT ONLY FRIENDS BUT FAMILY!!!!!

Kya played with her pet polar bear dog while Sokka, Suki, Katara, and Aang sat in front Aang and Katara's tent watched. She and her pet rolled around in the snow laughing and growling playfully until her pet pinned her to the ground and licked her face. She laughed and pushed the polar bear dog off of her.
"Ah, gross. Get off Avalanche!" Kya laughed as she gave Avalanche a big bear hug.
"Good idea letting Kya keep that polar bear dog as a pet, Sokka" said Katara.

katara intro:ugg highschool. being in my school 4 nations high is annoying. there are these clicks. of course ppl who bend the same element get along.theyre the fire nation, earth kingdom, watertribe and air nomads. fire nation are mostly the popular kids,the earh kingdom are normally jocks,the second popular.there arent alot of air nomads so its just one group of friends about 10 to 15 ppl and watertribe is just normal.although some people arent in clicks like me.but the bad things is i dont have friends. thank god this year im going to have waterbending classes lets see if i have someone...

there are really three siblings azula,zuko and young (12)azrin.

beauty over goes lots of changes also with a new family member and falls for aang .she is untouchable unless she wants to be and is from the future,an avatar whose overly powerful but knows always the right thing to do.you'll never know what to expect even in the end everything is leaked out and love is in the air

My Pre-critique of "Avatar: the Last Airbender The Movie"

okay so i seen a bunch of different previews of the move, and who there going to play for the cast. Yeah the graphics look great and everything and the movie is looking good (kinda), but what i don't like about it is who the cast is. I'm only going to focus on the main characters. Okay starting off with Aang, no offence but he looks like an eight year old, way to young. He's suppose to be 12, well 112, but yeah, and he kinda short for a 12 year old. And his arrow you can barely see and it looks different in a bad way.
Okay now going on to Katara, yeah she got most of the features down, well...
