The man was sat on the arm chair, holding his head in his hands. He didn't know what to do, or if he could indeed do anything. All he knew was that it would be better for everyone, and himself, if he just kept his mouth shut.

"I'm so sorry. So fucking sorry…" He trailed off, then suddenly thought back to the moment his band mate, his best friend, had shouted at him, sneering that he never wanted to see him again, and his whole being just suddenly dissolved into heart wrenching sobs.

"I've never seen him act like that before, even while we were in high school, and he hated that place." Their band mate, and other best friend, The Rev, whispered softly. He couldn't figure out what the distraught man sat in the arm chair had done wrong, but kept his thoughts, and his hands, firmly to himself.

"It shouldn't have happened, man, not like this." Another member, Johnny Christ, shook his head in disgust.

"We need to calm down, Johnny-" The fifth, and final, member of Avenged Sevenfold, M. Shadows, started.

Intro: I've been with the boys for three years now. I can really say that I'm happy to be here, and I'm sure they are too.
Especially Brian, I really don't call him syn anymore. He's like my father now. We are just a big happy family now. That's what
Johnny said. Zacky still creeps me out a little, He always has. But I still love him. And when we play together, he say's we
sound better together than Him and Brian. But I think he says that just to make me feel good. Then theres Matt. To me he is
A mentor. He pretty much is one of the coolest guys I know. I think he understands me a little more than the others. They all tell
me that if i ever need any thing that they wold be right there for me, but I usually go to Matt, just because he gets me. And The rev, Jimmy. Although
I never met him becausem of the unfortunate event, I feel He's with me. It's actually hard for me to believe He's dead because I have
heard so many stories about him that I feel like I know him so well personally. And being Avenged Sevenfold's new and probably

“- go down,” I heard laughter.
“What?” My voice echoed off the steel walls as I sat bolt upright in my uncomfortable bed.
“- world go down,” that same voice. It was starting to sound louder, as if the owner of the voice was getting closer to me. A shiver ran down my spine.

“Where am I? What’s going on? Please tell me!” I was starting to panic as my chest seized up, and my breathing quickened.
“Shh, it’s ok,” a whisper wrapped around me and I instantly relaxed. I yawned.
“Please tell me who’s there,” I whispered.
“Not that I could, or that I would-”
“- let it burn, under my skin, let it burn. Oh my God. Jimmy, is that you?!” A scream ripped itself from my throat, making my ears ring and ache.

Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap.
A beat… That was definitely a drum beat. I started to weep, tears streaming down my cheeks, and I looked towards my wooden bedroom door. I must be going mad, Jimmy’s… Gone.

“Am I?” A Californian drawl caressed my hearing senses, lulling me a little, and I closed my eyes.

The Rev "Seized The Day" to conquer the "City of Evil" in "Bat Country" and forced the "Beast and the Harlot" to "Scream" their "Unholy Confessions". He left them "Trashed and Scatered" and "Blinded In Chains" with the "Strenght of the World". "A Little Piece of Heaven" in his "Afterlife", now he is "M.I.A" an his "Nightmare" has come to pass. R.I.P. Jimmy "The Rev" Sillvan, you're gone but NEVER frogotten...

I pledge allengence to the Death Bat, of the City of Evil, and to the music we love, one nation under Avenged. With Gates, Shadows, Plague, Christ and Vengeance for all. R.I.P Jimmy Owen "The Rev" Sullivan 1981-2009

Life for me ain't been no Avenged Sevenfold concert
Its had broken instruments and stage lights
And no excited fans,
And no positive energy,
And too much negative energy and sadness-
But all the time.
I've been jumping,
And screaming in excitement,
And sometimes dancing and singing along
Where the band and crowd lost energy
So don't you give up hope.
Don't you stop playing
'Cause you find that you can't play without him.
Don't you stay depressed-
For I'm still your biggest fan
I'm still listening,
And life for me ain't been no Avenged Sevenfold concert.

And so has passed the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold. The Rev. Though it was awhile ago, I still find myself a little broken inside. No I didn't know him personally but he always seemed to be a good guy and was really funny in the "All Excess" documentary and the rest of the band really seemed to live him. Despite what cruelity that was forced on the band, they're still going. It takes the strength of all of them, espically with all that they've been through to keep it up but the sheer horror of it is saddening.

The irony of the "Seize the Day" music video was sickening and I feel horrible every time I watch it, despite that I love it. The tears and blood shed are hopefully not enough to tear down this awesome band and all that they're stood for through out their carrer. I pray to God that at some point soon, the suffering will end. Not to say that worst things couldn't happen but this was certainly was too much to deal with at once. I guess you may find that there is no point to this article but I'd like it if you'd give a little shout out to the Rev and the band, and everyone else they love. Avenged Sevenfold: og agus saor go deo (forever young and free).

Warmness on the Soul-album #1
Ok, I have an idea of what I think on this topic, but i would like to get dome feedback on others out there who love A7X just as much as I do.
Throughout their carrer as a band, Avenged Sevenfold has changed their style as each album goes by and yet they still manage to stay true to the meaning of their band. Many, as it seems to me, have a hard time trying to figure that meaning out though it seems. Let's help out those people.
Sounding the Seventh Trumpet kicked off with To "The End of Rapture", a fast kickass in your face song, followed by many other hardcore punk driven fast guitar playing songs. At this point in their career, having Warmness of th Soul and The Seventh trumpet under their belt, they more often than not were probably referred to as a punk band, which did at the time make sence.
With their video debut with "Unholy Confessions", a more melodic side was shown in their music, still mainly screaming and fast guitar based, but with a few touches of harmonies such as in the songs "I Won't See You Tonight" or And "All Things Will End" and even in "Unholy Confessions" itself. with this, a more alternative side was shown.
