This is what I wrote But the storyline isn't 100% mine though. The characters of Louis Ulrich, Burgan Hoskins and Francis Carter I own so Just ask me for them. But Ingram 'Wrong Way' Williams and Shadow I do NOT own. The rest are copyright to Universal Studios.
Williams was off looking for the lost team. They took some assault rifles with them Meanwhile The team was taken to an internment camp. Kaltag was glad not to have Star or Shadow with him to interrupt his rant.
“This is the best, awesomest, day of…”
“Shut up Kaltag!” Nikki yelled.
Kaltag not thinking went up and bonked Nikki on the head.
“Man I did it again!” Kaltag said starting to get mad at himself.
Steele punched Kaltag’s arm.
“Oww!” Kaltag yelped. “That hurt!”
“You have to control your hitting!” Steele growled.
Nikki gained consciousness.
“Guys break it up.” Balto said calmly.
Back at the veterinarian clinic in Nome, Star was having trouble breathing. Shadow was at his side comforting him. Surprisingly Shadow was easily conscious.
“I feel horrible.” Star moaned.
“I know.” Shadow said feeling sorry for the husky, “I’m with you though.”
The doctor walked in with a two bowls both filled with food for the dogs. Star couldn’t get up.
“My legs feel like rubber.” Star complained. “I can’t get up.”
“Do you want me to help you?” Shadow offered.
“Yes please. Thanks so much.”
“No problem.” Shadow said helping Star up.
“I’m surprised how good of shape you’re actually in.”
“Thanks.”
Jenna was laying with her girl Rosy.
“Balto didn’t return with Star and Shadow.” Jenna whimpered. “I hope he’s ok. He’s the love of my life
“Can I at least check on my dogs!?” Ingram yelled at the guards separating him from the four Dogs.
“Sorry our orders are to keep you and you dogs separated.” one of the guards said sternly.
Because of all the chaos Steele, Balto, Nikki, and Kaltag started to get confused.
“What’s going on?” Nikki asked.
“Looks like our musher and those guys holding guns are fighting.” Balto replied
“I hope someone comes to save us.” Kaltag said hopefully.
“Me too.” Steele added.
“Hey wait a minute.” Balto said quickly “What happened to the sled and the mysterious package?”
“Who knows.” Steele replied slowly.
“All I know is I’m getting really cold.” Kaltag said attempting to rant.
“Don’t you dare.” Steele yelled.
Kaltag couldn’t hold it. “This is the coldest, the most freezing snowiest place I’ve been to in…”
Steele, as hard as he could, bonked Kaltag square on top of the head. “You need to control your ranting!”
Five minutes past and Kaltag still hasn’t gained consciousness.
“I think you hit him too hard Steele.” Balto said to Steele
“Now I feel bad.” Steele answered. “Let’s try to get him conscious.”
“I know what will help.” Nikki said approaching Kaltag. “Hey Kaltag. If you don’t get up I’m stealing 5 bones from youse.
“What!?” Kaltag yelled as he Jerked up.
“He’s fine.” Nikki said calmly.
Williams took some men with him to find the team.
“This lantern is a sign of hope that the men that went out to find the missing team will find them” the telegraph person said
Star couldn’t sleep that night.
“Hey Star.” Shadow said quietly.
“Yes?” Star replied.
“You know how Kaltag always hit us”
“Yes”
“Well do you still feel bad for him?
“Of course.” Star replied.
“Me too”
“Why do you ask?”
“Just making sure.” Shadow said.
Williams reached a town no larger than Nome. Luckily it had a telegraph station. He made a request to send a message to Nome asking about Star and Shadow. His request was granted and was relieved to hear the two were doing fine. About an hour after they set off to look for the team. Williams saw tank tracks on the way.
“Oh, Dang!” Williams yelled. “They must have been captured!”
Quickly Williams and his crew turned around to the town to send the bad news. The news went on the town’s papers immediately. Star and Shadow already knew what happened so they didn’t freak out.
“Oh god!” Jenna said. “Balto could be dead. He could be injured. He could be out there freezing and starving!”
Jenna went to see Star
“Star!” Jenna yelled.
“Oh hey.”
“What happened to the team?”
“The last time I saw them I was detached to the sled.”
“So you don’t know how Balto would be doing.”
“No, I’m sorry.”
A few tears fell down Jenna’s cheeks. Star put his head on Jenna’s shoulder to comfort her.
“I’m hungry.” Nikki complained.
“I’m surprised you’re a Sled Dog with how fat you are.” Kaltag teased.
“Hey Jerk!” Nikki yelled.
“Yah Kaltag that was rude!” Balto growled.
“Actually I agree with Kaltag.” Steele said.
“Oh it’s on!” Nikki yelled as he tackled Steele.
Kaltag and Balto head butt, but fell back. Kaltag was unconscious but Balto wasn’t. Steele had Nikki pinned to the ground. Balto tried to push Steele off Nikki but he was just reflected off of Steele’s sharp muscular back. Balto landed right next to Kaltag who was now standing up ready to fight. Kaltag was about to pounce on Balto when Balto said “Wait, guys. Why are we fighting over one joke. If we plan to survive and escape we can’t keep fighting like this.”
“He’s right.” Steele agreed. “We can’t keep fighting like this.”
“Agreed!” Nikki and Kaltag said in unison. They slapped each other.
“Friends?” Steele offered.
“Friends.” Balto replied
Star was eating when he heard a dog yell his name. He looked back and saw that it was Dixie.
“Hey!” Star yelled exited to see her.
“I heard what happened to you.“ Dixie told him. “That was amazing what you did! I couldn’t have done that!”
“Thanks Dixie.” Star said.
They touched noses.
Shadow cleared his throat trying to get Star’s attention.
“Oh, This is Dixie, My girl.” Star said
“Where does a guy like you get one of those?” Shadow asked totally jealous.
“They’re rare in this town.”
Dixie licked Star, he smiled.
Williams began to follow the tank tracks that headed east.
“I don’t see sled tracks anywhere.” Williams told his crew. “Maybe they weren’t captured. looks like we…”
“Sir,” one of his crew members interrupted. “Isn’t that the sled they took right there?”
“Yes it is. You have good eyes dude.” Williams complemented.
They approached the sled. Williams saw the tank tracks that went north.
“There is a Russian internment camp up there. I know because I passed it in my plane.”
“That’s not good.” a crew member said.
The lantern back in Nome was turned down.
Jenna saw that and burst into tears.
“Star!” Jenna yelled
Star could clearly tell that Jenna was crying. “What’s wrong?”
“The lamp has been turned down!”
“Ok that’s it!” Star growled “I’m going out to find the team!”
“No you can’t” Shadow yelled “You’re still recovering.”
“I don’t care. As long as I can run I’m going out.”
Star gave Jenna a lick and then a hug. Star started to run out of town. About a mile from Nome Star’s legs failed. Shadow helped Star up.
“Thanks Shadow.” Star said
“No problem.”
“I’m impressed with how good of condition you’re in after what happened.”
“Thanks”
“What do you mean I’ll never leave?” Ingram asked madly.
“This is a perminate internment camp.” The commander of the internment camp said.
“Can you at least free my dogs?”
“Sorry they have to stay.”
“This is horrible!” Nikki said listening to the conversation from a distance.
Nikki can understand human English, inspite of his tiny ears.
“What!” the 3 other dogs said in unison.
“They’re not going to free us for life!” Nikki said. “And I Still haven’t eaten yet.”
“Someone has to save us
Williams new he was close to the interment camp. Then he saw it.\
“The internment camp!” Williams yelled “Lock and load people!”
They approached the gates.
“Wait.” one his crew members said. “Are you sure about this?”
“Not quite. Maybe we should wait one more day.”
Jenna was sitting on a barrel totally depressed when Dixie came up.
“What’s wrong Jenna?” Dixie asked like a good friend.
“Balto is out there with the lost team.” Jenna replied.
“Oh that’s horrible.”
Dixie leaned against Jenna.
“You’re so sweet Dixie” Jenna complemented.
“Thank you.”
“By the way I have some bad news.”
“What?”
“Star went out to find the team.”
Dixie Burst into tears herself. Jenna put her arm around Dixie.
Star and Shadow are on their way to find William and his crew.
“We need to hurry!” Shadow yelled
“I can’t. I can’t run.” Star complained
“Well at least try”
Star picked up his pace. “Hey I forgot how easy it was.”
The 4 dogs at the internment camp could smell William and his crew. They were cold and gathered together.
“Hey Nikki.” Kaltag said.
“Yes.” Nikki replied
“You know how Star is really annoying?”
“Yes.”
“Do you still miss him.”
“Of course.”
“Hey 5 bones says Star misses us.”
“You’re on.”
“You know I took for granted how good my friend were.” Steele said
“Yup you did Steele.” Balto replied
“Hey do you know Metallica’s song ‘No Leaf Clover.’”
“Oh yah.”
“Well do you how James Hetfeild the singer said ‘when it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel was just a freight train coming your way?’”
“I remember.”
“Well that might have happened to me.”
“I’m sure it has.”
“Sucks for me.”
Meanwhile Star and Shadow have been running for a while. Star has had a slow pace so the same thing wouldn’t happen to him again.
“I can see spiky tracks.” Star said
“We must be close.” Shadow replied.
The dogs ran through the tracks. About an hour later they saw William and his crew.
William saw them. “I’m ashamed of you two. You should have stayed safely in Nome.”
The night dragged slowly.
“Wait a minute! I smell Star and Shadow!” Balto yelled.
The four started barking rapidly to get Star and Shadows attention. Three soldiers came in with assault rifles aiming at the dogs.
“Shut up!” one of the soldiers yelled.
The soldiers left.
“I’ve nnnnever bbeen so scared in my lllife” Kaltag said still trembling with fear.
“I’m not sure what those things do’s.” Nikki said not even one bit scared.
“Are you crazy?” Steele yelled. “Those things could kill you in one shot!”
“Shot?”
“Hit!” Steele corrected himself.
“Lock and Load everyone!” Williams exclaimed. “Star, Shadow, you two stay out here.” Williams put a note into star’s harness that was never taken off. “If the same thing happens, you know the drill.”
“I got it!” Star barked but Williams couldn’t understand him.
William took five men with him all loaded with dual 9mm pistols and assault rifles. William shot the gate with a pistol.
“Freeze!” a guard with a single barrel shotgun yelled.
“Look.” Williams said trying to keep his cool. “We just want the prisoners back.”
“Which ones?” the guard asked.
“The guy named Ingram along with his four dogs.”
“You’re going to have to ask the commander of the internment camp about that. Here come with me. By the way my name is Francis. Francis Carter.
“I’m ‘Wrong Way’ Williams. But you can call me Williams”
“Well it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
“Thanks you too.”
They approached a small building made of concrete.
“Hey did you see that guy over there?” Steele asked
“Yah.” Kaltag replied.
“Doesn’t he look like ‘Wrong Way’ Williams?”
“He does” Balto said.
“Wait don’t any of youse think that is Williams?” Nikki started to question.
“It is! We’re being rescued!” Balto yelled.
“I hope I get fed soon.” Nikki said with his arm on his stomach.
“Who cares!” Kaltag yelled “I swear you are the fattest the most overweight the most…”
Kaltag’s rant was interrupted by Nikki’s stomach growling which lasted for five seconds and could be heard ten miles away.
“Dang…” Kaltag said sort of speechless. “Maybe… we do need to… feed you.”
“Do you want to hear something kind of ironic?” Star said to Shadow.
“Sure.”
“Kaltag hits me all the time, yet he’s the one I miss the most.”
“Weird.”
“Yah”
Williams and his men entered the commander’s place.
“Can I help you?” He said not looking up from the paper he was writing.
“Would you be nice enough to let go a few prisoners?”
That question made the commander look up from his paper. “You want me to free a few prisoners?”
“Yes.”
The commander got up from his chair. “Alright who?”
“The guy named Ingram and his four dogs.”
“Give me a day to think that through. Come back tomorrow.”
“Ok we will”
“By the way my name is Burgan Hoskins.” the commander said.
“I’m ‘Wrong Way’ Williams but you can call me Williams.” Williams replied.
“Nice to meet you.”
“Thanks you too.”
“I wonder if we’re going home today.” Balto said.
“I hope so.” Nikki replied. “I wonder how much weight I’ve lost.”
“Well it’s good that you are.” Kaltag said.
“I’ve never been so hungry in my life.” Nikki said half complaining.
“I know. Believe it or not but I’m hungry myself.” Steele said.
“Do you think they’re going to make it out alive?” Star asked.
“Hopefully.” Shadow replied. “It would be a huge loss for me.”
Just then the gates opened. Star and Shadow wondered where the four other dogs and Ingram were.
“We’re going to have to wait a day to see if they’re going to release them.” Williams said.
“Dang it!” Star barked.
“That sucks.” Shadow said softly.
A day passed. Williams went in to see if they could release Ingram and the four dogs. And at his surprise he saw Ingram lined up with Steele and Balto on his right and Nikki and Kaltag on his left. Behind them was A German A7V.
“What’s with the tank?” Williams asked.
“We’re going to escort you.” Burgan said.
“What about the sled and that package?” Williams questioned.
“That will be picked up on the way.” Burgan answered. “Well off you go. Come back and visit us.”
“I will. I have a plane.”
“Sweet.”
Williams, Ingram, and the four dogs got in the German tank. He saw the operator.
“I’m Louis Ulrich.” the operator said.
“I’m ‘Wrong Way’ Williams. But you can call me Williams.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you but I can’t help but ask, Why the heck do they call you ‘Wrong Way’ Williams.
“I’ve taken a few wrong turns.”
“Oh.”
The tank started up. At the gates Star, Shadow and the five men saw the tank. Star and Shadow cowarded backwards with their tail between their legs. The gate opened and the tank stopped.
Williams opened the door. “All aboard!” he said.
“The two dogs and five men entered.
“Kaltag!” Star yelled. Star ran and gave Kaltag a tight hug. “You may hit me a lot but you were the one I missed the most.” Star continued his tight hug on Kaltag.
“Hey Nikki.” Kaltag said “You owe me 5 bones.”
“Crap!” Nikki said.
Kaltag saw there was a wall right behind him. He jumped on his hind legs, leaned against the wall and joined Star’s hug. Everyone in the tank but Nikki thought it was the sweetest. About ten minutes later they reached the sled the sled along with the package was loaded into the tank.
“Put it on maximum overdrive!” Williams yelled.
In about twelve hours they reached Nome. In Nome all the people on the streets ran into the nearest possible building at the sight of the German tank.
“Thanks for the ride.” Williams said
“No problem.” Louis said back.
“Hey how about you stay here tonight. There a hotel on the other side of town.”
“Sounds good.”
When Star got out he saw Dixie laying on the side walk looking at him. Star could tell she was pissed off. “Star, what the heck did you do?!”
“Listen I can explain.”
“It’s too late!” Dixie yelled. She went up and bonked Star on the head. For the first time Star didn’t become unconscious. Dixie went up to Shadow and licked him.
“It looks like you found your girl Shadow.” Star said.
“Look dude, I so sorry I don’t want to steal your girl.”
“It’s ok I’m just happy for you.”
As soon as Shadow and Dixie were in an alley a smile formed on Star’s face. “YES!” he yelled. “I’m Free!”
“Balto!” Jenna yelled. “I was worried sick about you!”
“Yah well I’m here.” Balto said.
They touched noses then hugged.
“I need a girl.” Kaltag said Jealously just then a dog appeared next to him.
“Hi I’m Sylvie.” She said
“Kaltag.” Kaltag started to drool looking at her
They walked away.
“I’m to old to get a girl.” Nikki said.
“You’re not too old for me” A wolf from behind him said. “I’m Aniu.”
“I’m Nikki.”
“Everyone hates me” Steele said.
Just then every girl dog in town came around him.
“This is interesting.” Steele said
Night came. Shadow and Dixie were still in the alley. They were laying next to each other touching noses. They were sincerely a couple.
Williams was off looking for the lost team. They took some assault rifles with them Meanwhile The team was taken to an internment camp. Kaltag was glad not to have Star or Shadow with him to interrupt his rant.
