Batista with WWE title
Batista made his first public comments since leaving WWE at last night's Strikeforce show in Los Angeles, California. He said he left WWE because he didn't like the direction the company was going in and that he wouldn't be returning anytime soon. Batista continues to workout at the Affliction gym but is said to be more focused on his acting career than pursuing a career in Mixed Martial Arts.

Batista's final appearance on WWE programming was the May 24th edition of WWE Raw in which the company did an angle where he "quit" on-screen after losing to John Cena in an "I Quit" Match at WWE's Over...
