Bette Davis was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on April 5th 1908. Davis' mother said she demanded attention since the day she was born. Her parents divorced at an early age and she and her sister were raised by their mother. She was denied admittance to the Manhattan Civic Repertory. They consider Davis to be boisterous.
