And at that moment they shared a long, and very sweet, Goodbye kiss.
"So I guess it's really over then."
"I guess so," Jo cried. "Well, I have to go finish packing."
Kendall gave her a long hug.
"Bye," Jo said regrettingly.
Jo gave him one more hug then left. Just like that the love of Kendall's life was gone.
"How did it go?" James asked, walking through the door. Carlos and Logan walked in behind him.
"It's over." Kendall said.
"I'm sorry, dude." James gave him a hug.
"Are you okay?" Carlos asked.
"It's like someone just stabbed my hear a hundred times and ran away." Kendall fell to the ground and cried.
"Oh come on, Kendall. You'll find another girl," Logan stated. "How do you think I felt when I broke up with Camille?"
"Yeah but that's only cause she cheated on you with James. Jo left me forever."
"Not forever. Only three years." Carlos corrected.
"That was the most painful conversation I've ever had." Kendall cried some more.
Mrs. Knight and Katie walked through the door and dropped their pie.
"What's wrong with Kendall?" Katie asked.
James, Carlos, and Logan turned around.
"Long story," James answered.
"Jo broke up with him for a movie and he's taking it badly." Carlos said.
"Oh, my poor baby." Mrs. Knight said. She ran over to him and helped him up. "I know you loved her, Kendall. But things'll get better."
"It hurts so baaad." Kendall whimpered.
"I know, honey, I know."
Kendall cried on his Mom's shoulder.
"Forget her, Kendall." Katie said. "If she chose a movie over a great guy like you, then she's obviously not worth it."
"Thanks, Katie. But that doesn't make me feel any better," Kendall said through tears.
"There has to be someway to make you feel better." Carlos said.
"Yeah there is." Kendall lifted his head from his Mom's shoulder.
"Great! What?" James asked.
"Get me a time machine so I can go back to being in a relationship with Jo." Kendall cried more than ever now.
The boys sighed.
"Maybe you just need to be left alone." Mrs. Knight suggested.
"Yeah. That'd be nice." Kendall jumped onto the couch and layed there. "Let me die."
"Oh, come on!" Katie yelled. "Was she really that great? Sure you guys 'loved' eachother. But these things happen everyday. Relationships come and go, but I doubt you'd want to die over a girl who chose some stupid movie over you. You need to play video games, record music, swim in the pool, go to school, and live life! Jo is gone, Kendall. And there's nothing you can do about it."
"Wow." James said.
But it didn't help at all. Kendall only cried even more.
"That's it. I give up. I'm out of here." Katie stomped out the door, leaving everyone with a crying Kendall.
"Katie's right," Logan said. "I won't blame you for crying. But you need to get over it."
"You can still call her and video chat with her." James suggested.
"Yeah, and how happy will you be when she comes back in three years?" Carlos added.
"My guess: pretty happy." Logan answered for Kendall.
"You guys are right. I'm sorry for acting like a big baby. It's just that it was all so sudden, you know? And it might take a little while..but I'll get over her." Kendall finally stopped crying.
"Good." Mrs. Knight said.
The doorbell rang.
"I'll get it." Mrs. Knight said. When she opened the door, Gustavo Rocque, the boy's founder and manager was there with Kelly, the assistant
"Hi, Gustavo." Mrs. Knight greeted.
"Whazup, Mama Knight?" Gustavo walked in. Kelly followed closely behind.
"Uh, well, Kendall just--"
"Don't care. Dogs, I have a surprise for you."
"What is it, Gustavo?" Carlos asked.
"I'll tell you what it is! Griffin just offered me this really great deal. It involves Rocque Records."
"You guys are doing really well on the second album so Gustavo and I talked it out and decided that you four, and Katie and Mrs. Knight, deserve a vacation."
"Awesome! That would be perfect." Kendall cheered.
"Why?" Gustavo asked.
"Me and Jo just broke up and it'll be the perfect thing to take my mind off of her."
"Yeah, I don't care."
"Wait. So what does this have to do with Rocque Records?" Logan asked.
"Oh, right. Well, we're moving Rocque Records to Miami!"
"What?!" Everyone but Kelly and Gustavo yelled.
"But Gustavo you can't move Rocque Records to Florida!" James said.
"And why not?" Gustavo held his ground.
"Because! We love it here at the PalmWoods!" Carlos answered.
"We'll find you another PalmWoods Hotel. And we'll bring all this apartment, swirly slide, dome hockey junk us!"
"No buts! The decision is final," Gustavo yelled. "Kelly, let's go."
They left the apartment.
"What are we going to do?" Carlos asked.
Everyone looked at Logan.
"Don't look at me! I don't know what to do," Logan said.
"There's got to be something we can do."
Everyone looked at James.
"Oh, seriously, of all people, you look at me for a brilliant plan?" James said.
"He's got a point." Logan agreed.
"Kendall?" Carlos asked.
"Maybe if we show Gustavo how much we love it here, he'll change his mind."
"It's worth a shot." Logan said.
"Well, good luck with that boys. I'm going to go find Katie and get her back here to start packing." Mrs. Knight said, heading towards the door.
"Mom!" Kendall yelled.
"What? Your plan might fail!" She shrugged and walked out the door.
