So I got the idea from Lunalovely who got the idea from GD. Basically it's a listing of my favorite shows. I think it's a good idea to write one, and just like Luna said, help each other get to know each other better. Some shows are quite obvious that I like (if you talk to me a lot, you already know lol). Anywho, here goes my attempt at writing my second article ever. Let the hilarity ensue.
10. Nikita
Description: Bad ass girl who got away from The Division because she couldn't stand it anymore. She helps another girl (Alex) get back in there so they can take the organization down while fighting crime and doing some major ass kicking while trying to find these black boxes that has top secret information on them.
How I found it: I saw the commercial on CW and thought it looked interesting enough. Besides nothing else was on that night, most likely.
High Point: Nikita kicking ass and her love/hate relationship with Michael
Low Point: When I thought Alex and Nikita had a falling out
Fav Character: Nikita, although Birkhoff has redeemed himself during the last episodes.
Least Fav Character: Percy and Amanda.
OTP: Nikita and Michael.
9. Being Human
Description: A ghost, vampire, and werewolf live together in a house in Wales (used to be Bristol)
How I found it: Watching a show on BBC America and thought the preview looked awesome
High Point: George. He is so hilarious, and when he had these 'ticks' (like Tourette's) and he was swearing and yelling at everyone. Hilarious.
Low Point: When George had to kill Mitchell :|
Fav Character: George. He's so goofy and loveable.
Least Fav Character: Probably Owen. He was a douche. He killed Annie (the ghost), his fiancee.
OTP: Annie and Mitchell
8. The Inbetweeners
Description: 4 teenage boys in England who talk constantly about sex, drugs, etc. (although some of them probably lie about their happenings haha)
How I found it: Perusing BBC America
High Point: The accents and scenery and constant friend bashing going on x]
Low Point: The last episode I watched, Simon was supposed to be moving to Wales. I don't even know if that's an old episode or not.
Fav Character: Simon. He's the only cute one of the group although Neil is stupidly funny.
Least Fav Character: The main character Will. He's such a prat sometimes and too much of a goody goody. I don't even know how he's friends with the other 3.
OTP: Simon/Will's mum x]]]
7. Little Britain
Description: British sketch comedy
How I found it: BBC America (as always)
High Point: The many characters that the 2 actors play on the show. They can play anywhere from a teenage girl to an old man, to a transvestite and they're all believable lol.
Low Point: They did an American version. I don't like Americanized versions of British entertainment.
Fav Character: It's between Vicky Pollard, Daffyd, and Sebastian Love.
Least Fav Character: Lou and Andy
OTP: Sebastian and The Prime Minister (played by Anthony Head aka Giles in Buffy)
6. Hawaii Five-O (new version)
Description: Special task force agency in Hawaii started by the Governor
How I found it: Many many commercials promoting it.
High Point: Steve McGarrett in the season finale. Total awesomeness.
Low Point: Danno's ex wife getting pregnant with his baby, even though she's married.
Fav Character: McGarrett. What, he's hot ;]
Least Fav Character: Rachel. I just don't like her.
OTP: Danno/Kono
5. Not Going Out
Description: 2 best friends living in London, while one of them is living in his friend's sister's flat. Although they're best friends, they're completely opposite and that's what makes it funny.
How I found it: BBC America (always)
High Point: Lee and Lucy potentially going out
Fav Character: Lee. Although the way he talks is sometimes hard to understand, he's super funny and sarcastic.
Least Fav Character: Daisy, Tim's girlfriend. She's a moron.
OTP: Lee and Lucy
4. My Family
Description: A typical middle class family living in England and their day to day adventures
How I found it: Once again, BBC America
High Point: The kids. They're the most brainless lazy kids ever x] (little tidbit-the actor who plays the youngest kid Michael was in major contention to play Harry Potter and the mom in the show is played by Zoe Wanamaker aka Madam Hooch)
Low Point: When Nick (the oldest kid) left the show. He was one of the funniest ones.
Fav Character: Ben Harper, the dad of the family. He's not perfect but he does what he can and even though it seems like he doesn't like his family at times, he does.
Least Fav Character: Abi and Roger. I know they're supposed to be dumb, but at least try to be funny at times.
OTP: Alfie and Janey would have been cute together.
3. Merlin
Description: A remake of the story of Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, but with Merlin playing Arthur's servant instead of his teacher as we all know
How I found it: I saw Colin Morgan on an episode of Doctor Who and Googled him and saw that he was in Merlin. Luckily they show it in here on SyFy.
High Point: When Merlin found the famous Sword in the Stone (which was in a lake at the time) and gives it to Arthur to use to fight off Morgana and her evilness, then he puts the sword back in the stone where it belongs.
Low Point: When Uther wanted to burn Gwen at the stake because she thought she used magic to make Arthur fall in love with her
Fav Character: Merlin. He's so cute and funny and such an awesome character, even though he can't use his magic in public.
Least Fav Character: Morgana. She's a biznatch.
OTP: Can I have 2? First is Arwen (Arthur/Gwen) and Merthur (Merlin/Arthur)
2. Doctor Who
Description: A Time Lord and his blue box traveling across the universe in all of time and space.
How I found it: My friend Jamesy :]
High Point: When I found out who River Song really is!
Low Point: Moffatt always killing off Rory, like wtf? I love Rory!
Fav Character: Probably The Doctor (Ten and Eleven)
Least Fav Character: The Weeping Angels. Scary as hell.
OTP: The Doctor/Martha. I love them together. It would be cool to see a romantic storyline with Eleven and Martha, but with River Song in the picture, I don't know how that will work out.
1. Supernatural
Description: It's about 2 brothers who are hunters and they track down supernatural monsters all over the country. The first couple seasons dealt with Sam and Dean trying to find their dad John, and trying to kill the Yellow Eyed Demon. It went a little darker during the next couple seasons with Sam going bad and Dean trying to save him. Bring in an angel (Castiel, hallelujah!) and his adorableness.
How I found it: I used to watch it before they took it off the WB network and brought it back to the CW. Jamesy made me get back into watching again.
High Point: Castiel. Bringing him in Season 4 was the best thing they ever did to that show.
Low Point: Season 6 finale. Cas going 'bad' and becoming the New God. Doesn't help that he teamed up with Crowley and killed Balthazar :[
Fav Character: Castiel aka my hubby ;] He's cute and adorable and funny even though he doesn't try to be.
Least Fav Character: Ruby 2.0. I never liked her. There are other demons I don't like, but she's the worst, even worse than YED or Lilith. In a close second is Bela Talbot.
OTP: Destiel! (Dean/Castiel). Although I shipped Dean and Jo also.
I was going to add WWE wrestling in there somewhere, but seeing as it's not really a 'show, show', I left it out.
10. Nikita
