Does anyone know how many seasons of Bones there will be? They're coming to a close with the sixth season--I hope next season will not be the final season.
Well there is a season 7 but I think that season 7 may be the last or maybe a season 8. Unless they get B&B together soon... Some viewers have already stopped watching and now with the prime time competition. Bones is already seeming a bit stale, if they don't sort it out soon then it wont be on air much longer. In the early seasons, fox picked up 2 seasons at once and early on, now they have waited until the last minute and only picked up one. Ratings are dropping...

Fox really doesn't pick up shows when they are like into their 5 onwards season for more than a season. its not only a stratigic thing like ratings also because coming towards these season, depending on the actors it can be very unpredictable. it like how CBS always renews CSI but only one season at a time. it also because Fox has like a whole bunch of new shows they want to try so it depends on the situation. but right now the ratings for bones have been pretty good. partly cause of Idol but never the less last episode it increased by 17%. so thats a good thing. ;D
ok. well up till now, Bones is only renewed until 7th season. as for season 8 its unsure. it up to Fox executives whether they wish to continue or not; or HH if he wants to end it there or continue on.
when a show like this runs on for a while and is getting good ratings, fox normally only renews for a season and not more. cause its unpredictable. so we will just have to wait another year to find out.
Well if they keep this interesting long enough whit good story-lines and emotional cases and also not to jerk around whit "Booth and Brennan" thing this might go even 9 season's or even 10.
But if you ask me,8 season's will the best.
