Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid's Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. Premieres on Hulu April 26, 2017.
The six-hour miniseries follows Grace Marks, a poor, young Irish immigrant and domestic servant in Upper Canada who, along with a stable hand, was convicted of the brutal murders of their employer and his housekeeper in 1843.
