The Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz
It's about a teenage girl who finds out she's really a vampire- there's a love triangle: Schyler falls for the handsome vampire, Jack, but he is going to be forced to be bonded to his twin soul, Mimi, even though he loves Schyler and Schyler's best friend (Oliver-he's human) falls for Schyler and while all this is going on a bunch of seriously evil Silver Bloods (sort of like devil-vampires) are trying to take over.
There are currently 4 books in the series and more coming out: Blue Bloods, Masquerade, Revelations, The Van Allen Legacy.
I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO ANY FAN OF THE FANTASY GENRE!!!!!!!
mortal instruments trilogy by Cassandra Clare
wings by Aprilynne Pike ( i really like this book )
vampirates by justin somper
wicked lovely by Melissa Marr
house of night series by PC Cast and Kristin Cast
Check out The Paranormal Romance Spot right here on Fanpop (link). For a more mature read try Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series as well as her Meredith Gentry, all of Sherrilyn Kenyon's series, Maggie Shayne's Wings in the Night.
*I would say anything written by Jude Deveraux..she is awesome
*Waiting for you by Susane Colasanti
*Evermore by Alyson Noel
*Anything by Nicholas Sparks
*Anything by Jane Austen
*Blood and chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
*Kiss by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy
*And of course the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien(Not a lot of romance, but there is a good amount)
Definetly have one worth checking out, new author great story, instead of Vamps in love and all that, its grim reapers, love, death, its really good pulls you right in. you can read the first 45 pages at this link to see if you like it...Everyone I know that's read loved it. Its called Wingless
There are several..... I have read Everlong and Blue Moon by Alyson Noel. Romance, action and characters you come to love. I am now waiting on the 3rd book to come out.
The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare is awesome. I am on the 1st book but have the 2nd and 3rd books waiting for me at home. Twists, turns, awesome action, loveable characters everything you want. You are happy, sad, mad, scared and constantly wanting more with this series!! Cant wait to get to the other books!!
If you like fantasy, you'll just have to read The Host by Stephenie Meyer, my absolute favourite! The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins are also great! Or something... Well, anything by Stephen King. I can highly recommend Under The Dome.
Hmm, well I haven't read much Romance books, but im working on it ;) Twilightsagaismylife so obviously I loved that :P
A really good one is..."Hush, Hush" Yes it has a commar, and its great :) I loved it I read it in 5 hours and its 391 pages, very interesting and you should read it :)
My new favorite romance/fantasy series is Tairen Soul series by C.L. Wilson. wow, what a good read, couldn't put it down till I finished every book written so far (four) and eagerly waiting the last volume.
The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind is Amazing. Richard and Kahlan are an amazing pair. There are 11 books in the series, the author puts them through pure hell!, but I couldn't put them down. There is now a show based on the books, Legend of the Seeker, pretty good. But you can't appreciate it without reading the books first!
What about Kelley armstrongs series women of the otherworld?
It has werewolves witches sorcerers necromancers vampires etc etc and a good amount of romance and well written.her other series darkest powers (the summoning) has started well 2 its a more teenage appropriate lol.
And the sookie stackhouse series is pretty good too.
truthfully vampire books are getting on my nerves. (im not a twihater.) so if you were looking for some books OTHER than vampire ones here are some that are amazing:
Hunger games by suzanne collins, Catching Fire by suzanne collins, and fallen by lauren Kate.
this one isn't romance but it is REALLY good.
Witch & Wizard by james patterson. it isn't anything like harry potter at all (im not an hp hater either). It is probably one of the best books I've read. I love it.(:
There's The "Evernight" Series by Claudia Gray. (tree books including: Evernight, Stargazer, and Hourglass) There's Thirts No1. and Thirst No2. By Christopher Pike. they are both really good vampire books and are really addicting!
V A M P I R E A C A D E M Y
BY RICHELLE MEAD
This is the best series of books i have ever read. You may not like it at first depending on what your interested in but hang on in there!
It is a story with amazing characters thaat you immediatly fall in love with. It is a terrific love story between Rose and her mentor Dimitri who is only around ah.. 7 YEARS OLDER than her. While that is all going on it is a great book about a you guessed it a vampire academy!!!
Not too sure if you'll like these but hey I loved them
1. House of Night Series
2. Night World Series
3. Blue Bloods Series
4. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
5. Vampire Academy
The above aren't just based on romance but they have a hell of a lot of romance in them. Especially the Night World thats based on forbidden love. All are fantasy mostly vampire. All are upcoming series' of books. Hope this helps. xxx
Shiver is a great one. Its about a werewolf who cant be with a girl he likes, read this excert,
'And then I opened my eyes and it was just Grace and me-nothing anywhere but Grace and me- she pressing her lips together as though she were keeping my kiss inside her; and me holding this moment that was as fragile as a bird in my hands.'
I've also read Twilight and i've found that the house of nights series by pc and Kristin Cast is a brilliant series. i would probably say it is my favourite series but its joint first with the Vampire academy series which is also fantastic. I would say both of these series are better than twilight. The Immortal series about Ever and Damen is also very good. the Host is also good as it is written by Stephenie Meyer.
i know lots! 'its all i read' try seaward, by susan cooper, book of enchantments and the enchanted forest chronicles, both by patricia wrede, and maybe sirena, by donna jo napoli. hope this helps!
THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES, THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES, THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES, THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES, THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES, THE BEAUTIFUL DEAD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEY IS AWSOME!!!!
If you are looking for a more mature novel "wicked deeds on a winter night" and "how to catch a wolf" were both really good. But too detailed in the sexual department. I recamend being 17 to read these.
For juvinille reading " the night world" is really good.
omj they r sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The hunger games by Suzanne Collins are amazing and I can't wait for the final book to come out as well as the movie, there are 2 books: The hunger games and catching Fire although a third book is soon to come out called Catching Fire.
Another amazing book Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatric, I just finished this book and i think it is AWESOME.
Another amazing book is: Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater which is another love sotry where they have to fight to stay together.
The Host by Stephinie Meyer is amazing and if you loved twilight you would probably enjoy the host.
Some fantasy/romance books I've read are
1. Kissed by an Angel- Elizabeth Chandler- This book isn't about vampires, but angels, love, and murder. One of my favorite books of all time. I can't put into words how much I loved it because it is impossible.
2. Wherever Nina Lies- A good story, not a fantasy but still a really good read.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SOMETHING ELSE THAN VAMPIRES STORIES (because there is a lot more to read ... ! - *don't get me wrong, I've read the Twilight Series and I enjoyed it a lot*), HERE ARE TWO SUGGESTIONS:
 JOSY - A SCI-FI/FANTASY ROMANCE
By Victoria Rose
2005 – 172 pages
The planet Gareth is being destroyed as the Rose sisters prepare to leave. They agree to travel in one body--Christina's. She takes the soul-spirits of Toni and Josy into herself, reduces her body physics to light waves, and travels at the speed of light through space. She arrives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado via sunbeam and materializes on the naked back of sunbathing Mac Dakota. Her second problem--after food, clothing, and shelter--is to find bodies for her sisters. In this third romance novel in the Rose Sisters Trilogy, Josy finds her man in Sheriff Thomas Day. She agrees to marry him, with one contingency. But there's more--much more! Josy tells us of her culture: Their focus on the well-being of the planet and community, concepts of education, means of exchange, extended family, and the use of hydrogen as their source of energy. Interested? . . . Please read this book.
BLUE BAMBOO: TALES OF FANTASY AND ROMANCE
By Osamu Dazai
1993 - 184 pages
Stories deal with a man who changes into a bird, a brother and sister who share special powers, and family members who take turns telling a story. Stories that combine fantasy and romance with Osamu Dazai's own psychological concerns reveal the optimistic, humorous and idealistic side of a writer too often typecast as dark, pessimistic and self-absorbed.
Check out www.theangelsofthenight.com for a new vampire romance series "Angels of the Night: Discovery." Although the series will not hit the shelves until Aug. 2011, the author lists her blog where you can find an excerpt from the book.

Hey I know you posted this a while ago so somebody might have already said this but The Soul Screamers Series by Rachel Vincent is a really awesome series. No vampires thought and I don't think any will come in but it include demons, bean sidhes, grim reapers, and many more surprises. Hope you enjoy.
"The Sword of the Truth" series written by Terry Goodkind - Brilliant fantasy which has everything - magic, adventure, tears and triumphs... including romance. These books are full of colour and excitement, phenomenal stuff! If you want to read them in sequence the first book is "Wizard's First Rule"
some good romance paranormal series I have read are:
the Beautiful Creatures and Beautiful Darkness
by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl
Radiant Darkness by Emily Whitman
The Replacement By Brenna Yovanoff
Princess of The Midnight Ball and Princess of Glass by Jessica Day George
Holly Black's Modern Tales of Faerie- Tithe, Valliant, and Ironside plus her other series the Curse Workers- The white Cat
ANything by Tamora Pierce
Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
The Vladimir Todd series by Vicki Brewster
City of Bones, City of Ash, City of Glass, and her new upcoming book City of Fallen Angels Cassandra Claire. Her other Series which is a prequel to the Mortal Instuments is the Infernal Devices withe the CLockwork Princess and The CLockwork Prince so far are quite good as well.
All the books listed abover are young adult books if you are lookin gfor some good adult reads there is MaryJanice Davidson her Betsy the vampire queen series, Wyndham werewolves, and Fred the Mermaid. Mercedes Lackey, Victoria Laurie, P.C.Cast, Lynsay Sands, Katie MacAlister,Erin McCarthy. Which are all good reads and I recommend them.

1.Evermore By.Alyson noel
2. Hush, Hush By.Rebecca Fitzpatrick
3. The city bones. By. Cassandra Clare
4. The forbidden game by L.j smith
there so many books that are wonderfull its hard to choose.
Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, Lament by Maggie Stiefvater, Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl, Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, and Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow. If you're looking for over the top fantasy without leaving this dimension/century/life, then read Beautiful Creatures or Lament As. Soon. As. Possible.
There are a lot of good answers here, but I don't think anyone has mentioned the Uglies series by Westerfield. There's also one not many have heard of called Drag'n Seek (ongoing book series). The main characters are a little young but it's so obvious they will fall in love. I can't wait for the third book.
The Percy Jackson Series are fricken all fantasy-hero stuff and romance!!! U should really try it cuz it's WAY fricken better than the twilight series!!! So like go to ur hometown library and get crackin on the Percy Jackson Series cuz I am 100% positive that u'll love them!!! :)
Some of these are ones I've read and others are ones my friends recommended to me (we usually have good taste in books)
The Host Stephanie Meyer
The Eternal Kiss
Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen &other books by her
PS some don't have authors cause my friends told me which ones were good and didn't really say by who so sorry :s
Have you tried Vampire Beach by Alex Duval? I recently started them and am addicted to them. The only problem is if you live in America they're hard to find because the books are printed in the United Kingdom or France? So just a heads up.
Here's the names of the first two books in the series.
Gracling and Fire are the best romance fantasy books i have ever read they are by Kristen Cashore her next book is Bitterblue. But the books im reading right now are also romance fantasy and pretty good they are Beautiful Creatures, Beautiful Darkness and the last book tha is not out yet Beautiful Chaos
i think all who wonna read this kind of books would like the "wings"series..it's really great..it's 4 boooks but they'r three until now..i'm waiting 4 the 4th one in spring:(..i can't wait 4 it 2 come out..it a pretty amazing mix of fantasy, adventure and romance..it's just amazing!!u'll start with the "wings"book, then"spells and then"llusions"..i'm sure all who's gonna read it will like it!!
Revealing Eden (Save the Pearls pt 1.) by Victoria Foyt is a really good ya fantasy romance novel that just came out! Also, for a more "adult" fantasy romance novel check out the "Fever" series by Karen Marie Moning... good stuff!
I know many have said this already but there is the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R Ward that is good, then there is the Goddess Summoning Series by P.C Cast that I enjoyed a lot, Then there is the Highlander series by Karen Marie Moning, The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and her other series the league series. Lol i hope you enjoy these as much as i did.
I have a few suggestions: (these r all romance or paranormal romance books cuz that's the kinds of books I like to read)
The Hunger Games(really good I'm sure u know what it's about)
The "Celestra" series(I love this series it awesome it's about the people with gifts and this boy and girl have the same mind reading gifts and they fall in love and creatures chase them cuz ur not supposed to b in love with a person that has the same gift as u so the boy says that the girl should pretend to b dating someone else so the creatures will think that they've moved on from each other so she starts pretend dating the boys cousin that likes her and he has a gift of seeing the future and he said that they were gonna get married some day but the girl don't know if he's just sayin that cuz he likes her or if he really saw it in the future and by complete accident the girl fall in love with the boy she's pretend dating but still loves the first boy and she don't know wat to do its a really awesome series I think anyone would love it)
The Dream Realms series(this is kind of just like twilight)
The Fallen Star series(a star falls out of the sky and gives a boy and girl special gifts and the feel connected cuz they both have the star's energy in them it's really good)
In Dreams(very very very good it's about a girl thats about to start college that has dreams about this guy and she thinks it's her dream guy and thinks she's gonna meet him the first day but she meets another guy and falls in love with him instead but she can't completely fall in love with him cuz she's still attatched to the guy in her dreams and has to figure out what to do its not really paranormal romance it's just plain romance)
Maximum Ride(kids that are part bird part human that are chased all the time by scientist that are trying to use them to help take over the world it's kinda funny in some parts and it's not really a paranormal romance book but it does have some romance in the books)
I hope u like these books!!! Tell me what u think!!!
I highly reccomend S. Morgenstern's "The Princess Bride," abridged by William Goldman. It has everything. Fencing, true love, high adventure, pirates, monsters, evil royalty, thieves, magic, death, giants, and a bit of comedy thrown in for fun.
I would suggest The Hunger Games as I'm sure many people have suggested to you beforehand-But also, look into the Sookie Stackhouse novels (The ones that True Blood is based off of) by Charlaine Harris, the Savannah Vampire Chronicles by Raven Hart, The Modern Faery Tales by Holly Black, Divergent by Veronica Roth (This will eventually be a trilogy), Soul Screamers volume one by Rachel Vincent, and if you're into something a little more graphic, you might look into the Fifty Shades trilogy by EL James (I have yet to read any of those, I'm just going on what friends have told me). Good luck, and if you find anything that is really amazing, please pass on the recommendation!
DUST LANDS IS AMAZING JUST FINISHED IT COUPLE DAYS AGO!!!!!! A girl is the hero and she must save her brother from death only knowing of the world of desert lands around her and never knowing anyone really outside of her family. A boy named Jack acts all high and mighty but falls for her quickly. She must get to her brother quick and in doing so she will lose her side of weakness, she gains her skill of survival, only the thing is does she loose herself on the way?
I read The Hunger Games series at least a million times. I recommend Delirium. Its funny how similar it is to The Hunger Games. Its about a girl who lives in a word where the president thinks of love as a sickness. Lena (the girl) falls in love with an invalid and tries to escape the presidents cure.
One of the best series I have read recently is called The Endurers. It's by Rose Wynters. Book one is Rubenesque Rapture and book 2 is called Curvaceous Condemnation. It's about these immortal men that protect humanity from demons. In the process they are finding their soul mates.
Yes. A brand new series was just released. It's called Forgotten. The author is Shelley Filas. She's new, but the book is awesome. I couldn't put it down. It's on amazon, but you have download it. I had to get the kindle app on my ipad.
