I'm not sure what books I should recommend, because I haven't really read so many teenage love story books. At least not good ones that I can remember, but I've heard that books by Sara Dessen and Ellen Hopkins are good. You can ceck out this amazon link for more suggestions, and Barnes & Noble link and romance books at link :)

You should try Meg Cabot's books. She wrote The Princess Diaries (has about 7 parts) and one of my faves - All American Girl, with a sequel called Ready or Not. I love these books, because they are hilarious, and the last one, Read or Not, is talking about first sex and that sort of stuff, which is really fun to read because the main character flips out when her BF mentions something like that...
Anyways, I also love Ann Brashares. She wrote The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and has 4 parts. Awesome books!!!

Megan McCafferty's series (I think that's the author's name) is decent. Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings are really good, but I didn't like the last two books very much. Also Meg Cabot's Mediator series is good, but it's about a girl who talks to ghosts, so I don't know if it's what you're looking for. My favorite book I read as a teen was probably Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton Porter. It's such a beautiful story, it looks long, but you'll just tear through it.

The Hunger games and its sequel- catching fire are AMAZING. Some of the best romances are classics, such as Jane Eyre or Pride and Prejudice I know they look like hard going, but you can really get into them. If you want something more modern, I woul reccomend Uglies by Scott Westerfeld to everyone. Its not all romance, but romance does come into it. Hope this helps :D

These are some of my absolute favorite series (in no particular order). If you don't like fantasy, PLEASE try them! If you don't - you will not live :). 'Before I Die' by Jenny Downham.
A lot of people have recommended A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. They have the same running theme; but BIDie is much better. It's lighter, funnier and it feels more real.
It's currently being produced into a film starring Dakota Fanning.
Someone else mentioned the Chaos Walking trilogy, that's also definitely worth a read; I love it so much I can't bring myself to read the last installment since that would mean the ending.
Another trilogy, just as hard hitting is the Noughts and Crosses books by Malorie Blackman, these were incredibly popular in the UK, (I don't know where you're from). They're a racial version of Romeo and Juliet. It's incredibly interesting since the author has switched the world over; where white people are in the minority and black people are in power. Definite reads.
