I loved Harry Potter, then Twilight, then Hunger Games. Now what should I read?

When i finished the Hunger Games, I was dying for similar books, so I read:

Divergent - Veronica Roth
Legend - Marie Lu
Enclave - Ann Aguirre

These 3 books were AMAZING.

I'm currently reading a series called Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck, if you loved Twilight, you'll love it.

Mortal Instruments. It includes magic, which is like Harry Potter, romance (lots of that), which is like Twilight, and action (lots of that, too), which is like Hunger Games. Oh, and vampires. I do believe you'll enjoy it. But... I just realized you asked this question two years ago. Well, anyway, if you haven't read it by now, you should.

Have you tried the House of Night series?? they are pretty good too, they are about Vamps but it is different from Twilight. - P.C. and Kristin Case

You should also try Wicca by Cate Tirenan, they're pretty good too, and there 15 of them but they r pretty small like 200 pages each!!!!

Also try the book, Every Boy's Got One, believe me it's not like it sounds, its in like e-mail and text form but it's still pretty cool. - Meg Cabot

witch & wizard by James Patterson. That is the first one, the second is coming out soon. It is an amazing book! I LOVED it. Some parts were a little goofy but the rest of it was really good. I know you said you've already read Harry Potter. It is nothing like it at all. No academy or nothing like that. If you look on goodreads it doesn't sound that good but it is if you actually read it. My aunt and grandma read it too and they loved it.

Also another one is Fallen by Lauren Kate. At first I thought it was going to be stupid because my friend was telling me about it and she was like "Oh it's about this Fallen angel and a girl who got sent to reform school for no reason blah blah blah..." I see you like vampires. How about you read Interveiw with the Vampire? It's a very good book, and you'll find connections with Twilight in it (it's also a series). Next, how about the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series? I read it 5 times I love it so much! x3 Warriors by Erin Hunter will be good for you, and now I have one more. The Sight and its sequel Fell by David Clement Davies. It's about wolves and are one of the best books I've read.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Artemis Fowl, Beautiful Creatures, Beautiful Darkness, The 39 Clues, The Kane Chronicles Series, Shadow, Vampire Academy, Inkheart, Airhead, Princess Diaries(it's NOT girly!!!), Avalon High, The Gallagher Girls series(1st book is called I'd tell you I'd love but then I'd have to kill you), Maximum Ride, if you don't like any of these then you should try reading some old American classics like Anne of Green Gables....

You should try the nine lives of chloe king series or like ros59 said read hp again maybe the cheertown books ( hellcats)

you should try a manga, i recommend the Manga called Kuroshitsuji.

Well lets see: Harry Potter I love with all my heart, Twilight I despise, and I haven't actually read Hunger Games (I TRIED)
So I would say my second favorite series, Septimus Heap.

It's about this boy, a seventh son of the seventh son, who gets stolen the night he is born, put into the horrible Young Army, and known as Boy 412. That same night, his father, Silas Heap, finds an abandoned baby girl in the snow. They name her Jenna and raise her as their own. But on her tenth birthday, the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Marcia Overstrand, reveals that Jenna is actually the Princess of the Castle, and must be taken away for her own safety. Marcia, Jenna and her father and brother Nicko, and Boy 412 (who they rescued from being buried by snow) go to stay with Aunt Zelda. There they find out who Boy 412 really is, and he becomes Marcia's wizard Apprentice, and has a ton of adventures. I won't give anything else away, but it's AWESOME!

You should read the beautiful creatures. It is about a guy having dreams about this girl that moves where he lives and everyone hates her, beacuse she is relited to a so call killer.

Gone by Michael Grant. Defintly. It's a mixture of Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. Kinda a tiny bit of Twilight, but way better than Meyer's approach.

In my opinion, if you have read and enjoyed those other authors, then you would do yourself a terrible diservice if you did not read: J.R.R. Tolkien. (Possibly begin with The Lord of The Rings).

I did the opposite, and began with Tolkien and took off from there, so I owe a good deal of thanks for my love of reading and high marks at university. I also took a Tolkien scholar course from someone published on Tolkien -who also happens to look like Gandalf with a doctorate/professorship in the same categories as Tolkien had, and I made the highest mark possible- that is how much I loved it. ;)

well since those books are pretty different in types it all depends on what your personal preference between which book you liked the best like if you liked he hunger games the best, try Divergent or if you liked harry potter, try the inheritance cycle

I have a few suggestions: (these r all romance or paranormal romance books cuz that's the kinds of books I like to read)

The Hunger Games(really good I'm sure u know what it's about)

The "Celestra" series(I love this series it awesome it's about the people with gifts and this boy and girl have the same mind reading gifts and they fall in love and creatures chase them cuz ur not supposed to b in love with a person that has the same gift as u so the boy says that the girl should pretend to b dating someone else so the creatures will think that they've moved on from each other so she starts pretend dating the boys cousin that likes her and he has a gift of seeing the future and he said that they were gonna get married some day but the girl don't know if he's just sayin that cuz he likes her or if he really saw it in the future and by complete accident the girl fall in love with the boy she's pretend dating but still loves the first boy and she don't know wat to do its a really awesome series I think anyone would love it)

The Dream Realms series(this is kind of just like twilight)

The Fallen Star series(a star falls out of the sky and gives a boy and girl special gifts and the feel connected cuz they both have the star's energy in them it's really good)

In Dreams(very very very good it's about a girl thats about to start college that has dreams about this guy and she thinks it's her dream guy and thinks she's gonna meet him the first day but she meets another guy and falls in love with him instead but she can't completely fall in love with him cuz she's still attatched to the guy in her dreams and has to figure out what to do its not really paranormal romance it's just plain romance)

Maximum Ride(kids that are part bird part human that are chased all the time by scientist that are trying to use them to help take over the world it's kinda funny in some parts and it's not really a paranormal romance book but it does have some romance in the books)

This isn't a series but it's an AMAZING book. It's one of those life-changing books. It's about bullying basically. I had to read it for a criminology class i took in university. Even though technically it was a text, I refused to sell it with the others when I was done.
