acheron by sherrilyn kenyon is one of my favorite books. and a book i STRONGLY suggest you read. and its not easy to become one of my top favorites with the thousands i have read. with the exception of this book which i read in 2 days ( because it is very long and i had school ^.^) i usually read about 1 300 page chapter book a day. different ones every time because i despise reading a book twice. except this book. this book is so incredibly good that i have reread it at least 5 times. its just that well written and in my opinion that amazing. with the thousands of authors i have read i have my favorites but she is by far my number 1 and this is my number 1 favorite book to. this book is towards the end in the dark hunter series that she writes . but dont worry there not all about one person and this being the last book in the series like twilight continues about one person. ( i use this only as a example cuz i assume most have you have read it weather you liked it our not) each book in the series is like its own story it has a begging and a end and is about a different person as the main character. the series is linked becuz a character that you know from reading one book will sometimes show up in another book in a situation. also becuz each book is about some related to our who is a "dark hunter" if you have a basic knowledge of greek mythology. (you only need to know the basics really but its very pleasant to read if your into that type of that stuff) then you will love this book thats where it all really originates with the idea of mythology, she even makes up her own mythology kinda. this book is an adult book its romance, action, fantasy a little bit of everything. theres a few sex seans in there so if you can read adult content then dont read it. its over all kinda a romance book. but its much much more then that as well. there are to parts to this book part one. where they take you back to his past in ancient Greece. the author switches who is telling the story, in the first halve and the second. sometimes in the first half he is telling the story or his sister is, or Artemis is. the first half is very long and very tragic a cried soooooo much. and the 2nd half is when he meets the girl... the plot its a little complicated to explain so if you think i make this sound like a awesome book. visit the authors website and check out the summery and ect.
Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker–his classmate and crush–who committed suicide two weeks earlier.
On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he'll find out how he made the list.
Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.
