Brave: Merida's Fate.
Chapter 1 Episode 1: Pilot
Life for Merida has been set back to normal after the three clans left. No more worrying about marriage, no new responsibilities, and no more of that dreaded bear, Mor'du. The only thing that has changed is her mother now truly understands her. Now she has a free life again, and the only person who runs it is her.
Although, for now she has been grounded and ordered to clean up whatever her mother, Queen Elinor broke when she was turned into a bear. The damage stretched halfway around the castle, and includes the gate that the overflow water from the well exited out of. Since she can't lift it and fit it back on, she has been ordered to clean it until it shined, which took an entire afternoon. Even though this work is very physically demanding, she knew what she did was wrong and figured it was the least she could do. All the heavy furniture knocked over, was also put back in place by the guards since Merida can't lift it either. Still though, there was enough broken trinkets that fell off the furniture she was able to sweep up.
A week has passed and Merida finally finished cleaning, and she has been ungrounded. So the very first thing she did was grab her bow and head out to a blacksmith's shop in the lower town. When she arrived he greeted her happily. "What can I do for you this fine morning Princess?" The blacksmith wondered. "I was wondering if you have something that can clean the ash off my bow." Merida hoped. "Oh yes, I can use a special liquified formula the physician made. Although it is quite expensive." The blacksmith answered. "How much are we talking about exactly?" Merida wondered. "Well it is normally 13 gold, but I will sell it to you for 10." The blacksmith answered. "10 gold! I can buy a new horse for that!" Merida complained. "Well I am sorry lady but that is the price, I only have one bottle." The blacksmith assured. Merida then walked out without saying a word.
She walked back to the castle and found the court physician. "Excuse me, I was just at the blacksmith's shop and he said you made a special formula that could take ash off my bow." Merida explained. "Well I have a potion I am about to throw out which will do so. It's different then what I gave him, but it will do the trick." The physician offered. "OK great thank you." Merida gleefully replied. "Just promise me one thing?" The physician urged. "Anything" Merida yelped. "Rinse your hands and bow after you use it, don't drink it, and please poor it out when your done so no one else tries to drink it, such as your brothers." The physician requested. "Yes I will do so" Merida vowed. "OK great here it is then." Merida quickly accepted the potion and bolted down to the creek where she can then finally get all the ash and black stuff off her bow.
When she finally got down to the creek, the water was almost completely drained! Sure there was enough water to clean her bow, but it still worried her. In minutes her bow was cleaned and she was off toward the castle again. But she forgot one thing...The near-full potion bottle.
