Buck's accent is a kind of British accent. His accent is not the royal British accent. It is the southern british accent. I does sound kind of Australian but an Australian accent is a lot thicker.

OK, I looked up the man who voiced Buck in the film (Simon Pegg) hoping to find what his backroung is, that way, it may determain what Buck's accent is. I found out that he was born in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, England. So, it must be some sort of English accent. I might have to do some more research, but that's what I could find out for now.

I've always thought of it as a kinda Welsh accent. But not so heavy.

i am from Gloucester. i have a "bucks" accent, a "farmer" accent, a "southern" accent, a "chavvy" accent or however you see it. i have that accent.
its true that simon pegg is from Gloucester so listen to his voice and i sound like that....but worse.
a bucks accent is not at all australian. nor is it welsh. although Gloucester/Bristol is down south by wales.
