FREDDIE'S POV

I glanced over at Carly's cage and saw that she was fast asleep. I knew we needed to get out of here and fast. I started to struggle against the wire but it only held me faster. I looked around in where we were and saw we were in an underground cave that Nevel must've built somehow. By every opening there was a guard and Sam had gone upstairs with Nevel. So all I had to do was wait 'till nightfall to escape.

12:00 A.M.

Everyone was practically asleep and the only person was the guard blocking the path to upstairs. Oddly the guard had the same white eyes as Sam did under hypnosis....

(Carly's POV)
As soon as we arrived at home, I quickly fell asleep in my room. I was so tired, I guess I hardly noticed the smoke rising in my room. At first I thought I was dreaming, but then I realised I had a really hard time breathing.So I climbed out of bed and headed downstairs.

I could write a novel filled with all the things I love about you. Your smile, your eyes, you’re your hair, your hands, even your curly handwriting. I love the way you smile at me randomly. I couldn't believe that of all people,especially Nevel Papperman, would stoop so low. He almost killed Carly and burned half of the apartment down. It was a good thing that nothing got permanently damaged in the apartments. I still had worries about Carly and the prom. If I didn't ask her soon, somebody like lets say Griffin(the worst guy for Carly) would ask her first. So I quickly slipped under my covers and fell asleep.

Freddie looked at me as if I was crazy.

"What do we mean? We can't save her and it's out of our hands anyway," he said.

"But we have to save her or else Nevel might do something to her that will probably scar our lives forever!" I screamed.

"Well we have to be frank about this. I mean, how are we suppposed to get to her anyway if she's probably somewhere hidden in his house," he said, and started to pace.
