Erin sat up and looked around confused. How did she get here? The door opened and Evan came back with a doctor.
“Good afternoon, miss Gregor” the doctor greeted as he walked to the bed. “How are you feeling?”
Erin looked puzzled at Evan. “What happened?” she asked hoarse, as if she hadn’t used her voice in years.”Who are you?...Who am I?” She fired each question, giving Evan no time to answer them. He took her hand and sat on the bed.
“What’s the last thing you remember?” he asked caring. Erin looked down, searching her mind for any kind of memory. But then she shook her head, defeated. “It’s okay” Evan said softly. “I, eh,…I can tell what you need to know. I’m Evan Trumble, I’m your fiancé. We were going to get married after you graduated”
Erin freed her hand and stared at her ringless fingers.
“The ring is missing, but that’s the least of our problems” Evan continued. He took her hand again. “You’re back. That’s the only thing that matters, right now” He pinched her fingers and leaned forward to kiss her, but she rotated her head. She didn’t feel any connection to this man. Evan let go of her, realizing he would have to give her some time.
“I’m going home to get some of your stuff” he said. “Then I’ll come back to take you home with me”
It was meant as a promise, but Erin felt it as a threat. He glanced at the doctor as if he wanted insurance that he wouldn’t leave his girlfriend out of his sight. The doctor nodded in reassurance and Evan left the room.

“It was me” Meg said. Sam had freed her from her prison and now she was going to free Cas of his. She had to promise Sam she wouldn’t try to get out until they were far gone. Because as soon as soon as Cas was out they were going to hit the road an drive as far away as possible.
“I killed Jack and I killed Paul Morgan. Cas has nothing to do with it. I was trying to protect him. Jack was asking too many questions and Paul knew too much already. There were people trying to hurt Cas and I tried to give him a low profile. But it didn’t really work out. I don’t want a lawyer. I don’t want a trial. Just give me the maximum penalty and I’ll accept it”
Isabel stared at her, a little puzzled, but also thrilled. She got Jack and Paul’s killer. Now no one would question her competence as an inspector again. She cuffed Meg’s hand and brought her to a cell.
