I was about to watch 'The Private Life of Henry VIII' when a title card appeared in the first frame explaining that Katherine of Aragon does not appear in the film because 'her story is of no particular interest'!
I refused to watch the film after that. The nerve to deem Katherine of Aragon uninteresting! She was a fascinating woman - strong, kind, respected, brave. And those are just some words to describe how great she is!

She donated large sums of money to colleges throughout England. With her own education proving that a woman was just as intelligent as any man, she made women's education fashionable and popular. A major stepping stone in women's rights!
