Why Did the U.S. Government Purchase 30,000 Guillotines?
Published on April 29, 2017

"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." ~ Revelation 20:4

Federal judge backs firing squads, guillotine for executions

"A controversial federal judge thinks firing squads and guillotines should come back in style as the debate over executions in Arkansas rages on. Ninth Circuit Appeals Judge Alex Kozinski, in an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes” set to air Sunday, said conducting lethal injections is a sham that masks that fact that people are getting killed. …When interviewer Lesley Stahl mentions that Kozinski favors death by firing squad, the longtime justice quips: “Never fails.” Then she brings up his support of the guillotine — a late-18th century device that chops off the head. “Well, you know, it’s 100% effective,” Kozinski said of the device made famous for beheading aristocrats during the French Revolution. “And it leaves no doubt that what we are doing is a violent thing. If we as a society are willing to take away human life, we should be willing to watch it."

Georgia House of Representatives - 1995/1996 Sessions
HB 1274 - Death penalty; guillotine provisions
Code Sections - 17-10-38/ 17-10-44 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT

1- 1 To amend Article 2 of Chapter 10 of Title 17 of the Official

1- 2 Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the death penalty

1- 3 generally, so as to provide a statement of legislative

1- 4 policy; to provide for death by guillotine; to provide for

1- 5 applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other

1- 6 purposes.

SECTION 1.

1- 8 The General Assembly finds that while prisoners condemned to

1- 9 death may wish to donate one or more of their organs for

1-10 transplant, any such desire is thwarted by the fact that

1-11 electrocution makes all such organs unsuitable for

1-12 transplant. The intent of the General Assembly in enacting

1-13 this legislation is to provide for a method of execution

1-14 which is compatible with the donation of organs by a

1-15 condemned prisoner.

– The use of guillotines for “governmental purposes” was lobbied for and passed in the U.S. Congress
– The information we received is that 15,000 are currently stored in Georgia and 15,000 in Montana
– Are the beheadings by muslims today meant to condition and desensitize us against U.S. Government beheadings in the future?
If Georgia was planning to utilize guillotines as a method of execution, how could this be carried out without purchasing guillotines?

Answer: Stoning is a method of execution during which a group of people, usually peers of the guilty party, throws stones at the condemned person until he or she dies. Death by stoning was prescribed in the Old Testament Law as a punishment for various sins. Both animals and people could be the subjects of stoning (Exodus 21:28), and stoning seems to have been associated with sins that caused irreparable damage to the spiritual or ceremonial purity of a person or an animal.

Some sins that resulted in stoning in the Old Testament were murder (Leviticus 24:17), idolatry (Deuteronomy 17:2–5),...

Matthew 28:19-20 describes how we must spread the Word of Jesus Christ. We should teach everyone—Christians and nonbelievers alike—about God. Tell them to believe and then strengthen their faith. Try to teach as many places as you can. Teach them the rules and poetry of the Bible. It doesn’t matter what they say about your beliefs, you know you’re right and that God is with you.
Once the Holy Spirit came at the Pentecost, the Apostles were now full of strength to do what Jesus told them. First, Peter healed a crippled beggar in the name...

You will not hear me say “I agree with everything Christian… except this” and when it comes to a romantic relationship, I see it as not just a joining of people as one, but a union of responsibility by both to keep the other strong in their Faith.

… But sometimes I just want...

After two weeks in London, Esther said goodbye to her cousin. It wasn't really hard, because she just did not like her cousin at all. She was looking forward to going back to Australia for one reason. Her name was Faith. She knew faith would be waiting at the airport for her when she returned. She hoped she would like the jeans she had bought. Oh, yeah, and the present she had got for Faith as well. She had picked up a gift for each of them. For Chi-chi, it was a mini Bible. Frankly, she didn't know what else to get her. And for Faith, she got her the all the DVDs from the series The Chronicles...

Last year, I wrote an article where I talked about Carrie Fisher's death, because I thought it would be an interesting idea to talk about, especially to close off the year. So, I decided to do the same, but this time, I want to talk about a topic that's been heavily debated by millions across the planet. I'm not trying to be super philosophical, but rather share with you my point of view.

A few days ago, I decided to look up a few videos about souls and the afterlife. I look up a video that talked about theories of what could happen. Most of them seemed reasonably beliveable, except for the...

You've been waiting here for me,
though you don't push me at all.
You know exactly what I need.
But You won't shove it down my throat.

You've been on my mind all day long.
I pretend You're not even there,
because I know my thoughts are wrong.
But I'll just keep pretending anyway.

When I finally call out to You
You come and tell me everything's okay.
You take time to make me new
though You know I'll just push You away.

I doubt I'll ever learn
This world's too big for me on my own.
Each time I try I just get burned.
But You're the One who will heal my wounds.

Just stop answering my calls
so that I will fall on...

I'm taking a history course this year, and I was supposed to write an essay on the reasons for success of Christianity. Enjoy!

Today, Christianity is one of the most wide-spread religions of the world. But its history is filled with bloodshed and violence; early Christians had to endure horrific punishments for their faith. There are many stories of martyrs being stoned to death; of Christians’ bodies being used as torches to light Roman feasts; of people being crucified, sometimes upside-down, simply because they refused to renounce Jesus Christ as their saviour. In the midst of such persecution,...
