I did laugh at this even though i am atheist but think, Christianity is the theory that there is a giant person in the sky who is better than you and magically made humans by snapping his fingers.
Guys, please respect other people's religions. This is offending to Atheism. I am not saying that I am one, neither I am a Christian, but everyone should respect others' belief systems. Disrespect to other people's thoughts and beliefs just gives us a reflection of how you lack knowledge and education.
You are entitled to your opinion (as we all are). The image is not meant as a put-down to atheists, but to show (in an exaggerated and humorous way) just how ridiculous atheism is. And maybe if an atheist comes here and reads it, they just might see the error of their beliefs, and begin to see the light of the Truth. Let's not sugarcoat the truth. There are too many people dying and going to hell. And that's my opinion.
By the way, the Atheism club has had one like this about Christianity two years before this one (though I didn't know it before posting this one).
Funny how the Christians have seem to have a similar response to Eternal-fighter's comments as us Atheists did.
As an Atheist, I find this as funny as the version in the Atheism spot. This image doesn't reflect what I personally believe, but I can see the Christian humour in it. It doesn't offend me or my Atheist beliefs and it certainly doesn't change my mind.
Point is, even if some people might interpret it as malicious, or even think that it is an accurate representation of Atheists, I know what I think about it and I am comfortable with that. And I suspect that the majority of Atheists would either dismiss this, laugh at it, or ignore it completely. Few would get angry at it.
In case some of you are wondering, these recent comments have appeared due to a "conversation" that Eternal-fighter started in the Atheism spot, when he said that he felt sorry for us because he thinks we have a "lack of knowledge" and that some Atheist content was offensive. I directed him to content posted in this spot in an effort to demonstrate that religious debate can also be humourous without being offensive. Eternal-fighter does not speak for the Atheists in the Atheism spot.
@musdan77, I'm an Atheist, I read it, I had a good laugh, I'm not offended in the least!
I haven't even finished Grade 9 astronomy, but I think things rearranged themselves for a reason, it just depends on which reason you want to believe in, intelligent design, or evolution and chemistry :)
HAHA, yeah right. Nothing cannot exist because it has a name, and yet, nothing does exist. So everything must exist because there is a name for it, so everything doesn't exist. Everything>Nothing and Nothing>Everything and Nothing=Everything and Everything=Nothing.
so some people are saying this is offensive to atheists but the thing is, it's true - it's what they believe. why get offended if you are thinking this in your head??
oh yeah, 'cause you just realised you might be wrong.
Christianity. The belief that an all powerful and all loving superbeing created everything, never bothers to prove his own existance and allows children to be raped and tortured to death, sobbing and fearful. Makes perfect sense.
^ He does prove His existance; a lot of people just don't look for it/notice it (like me most of the time). And Satan is the last part; but in the end, God has a plan and He knows what he's doing (even when we dont understand it).
And yes, this is an amusing sign. Kudos to the creator, whomever that is, considering the credit and keywords leave much to be desired.
Actually He just said it, and it was done.
But, I'm glad you came to visit the "other side."
(and those magic things did have reasons, but you have to BELIEVE them to understand :)

Totally saving this. xD

Brain Teaser!
oh yeah, 'cause you just realised you might be wrong.
@Roxas1314- Aaah! You're hurting my brain! X|
I don't find it offensive if it is intended as a joke. I do find it offensive when people genuinely believe that this is what I believe.
XD
I came back to this...and it's so not true, but sill funny.
