Instead of making a sequel to follow Seed of Chucky (2004) as originally intended the producers decided it was time to return Chucky to his horror roots instead of the comedic side which took control over 'Seed Of Chucky'. The only way they felt this was possible was to "reboot" the franchise with a remake of the original that was darker and scarier than even the original had been.

Nothing has been confirmed, all thats known is that its being made. However, because Don Mancini, writer of the original movie is attached, we can guess it may stick fairly close to the original.

It has not been confirmed, but there is some speculation among fans that there will be a brief cameo appearance by the character of Tiffany (played by Jennifer Tilly in 1998's "Bride of Chucky" as well as its 2004 sequel, "Seed of Chucky"). In the current "Child's Play" mythology, Tiffany is an important character in the life of Charles Lee Ray, the serial killer who transfers his soul into Chucky the doll. If Tiffany appears at all though, it will be in human form and she will not be a doll like Chucky.

SEED OF CHUCKY:_______Glenda appears late in the movie as an another soul that shares Glen's body. Glenda is possibly more twisted than her father and has his red wild hair . Her apperarance is Glen in wedding gown and has makeup on. Glenda makes her apperarance when Jennifer Tilly's assistant, Joan, in concern of her boss, attempts to help her, but she is killed by being sprayed with fire. When it seemed that Tiffany did it, it is revealed that it was Glenda (it is revealed two souls share Glen's body, shocking both of his parents and himself after Tiffany snaps him out of it). Later, Tilly gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl.

Added by Zachdm775 years later, On the twins' birthday, one of the maids tries to quit her job because she is afraid of Glenda, who she believes is a troubled child. Tiffany(who is now in Jennifer's body) tells her she can go but then beats her to death with her doll body. Glenda sees this and smiles as she and her mother agree to keep what happened a secret between them

BRIDE OF CHUCKY:______Glen appears in the last scene of the movie a few moments before Tiffany went back to her lifeless state. The detective who deceived Tiffany's dead body screams in horror as a red, bloody, sharp-toothed baby appears, screeching, and attacks him.

SEED OF CHUCKY:_________Glen is later learned to have been picked up by an English man known as Psychs who uses Glen as part of his ventriloquist act. However he is living a life of embarrassment and abuse. One night he sees a behind the scene on television of an upcoming movie based on Chucky and Tiffany. He realizes they are his parents based on the "made on Japan" print on their arms. He escapes from Psychs and travels to Hollywood. Upon tracking down his parents, now dummies in one of Jennifer Tilly's films, Glen uses a voodoo amulet (the "Heart of Damballa" from the previous film) to bring them back to life When Chucky found out Glen is actually his child, he faints. When Chucky and Tiffany can't agree on the gender of their child, Chucky believes he's a boy, even comforting him and he also gives him the name Glen. Chucky arranges a "boys' night out" for him and Glen. With Glen working the pedals...
