Yeah its not very classy is it. If it was Enchanted I wouldn't mind cause that was a classic yet it was a homage .

Bolt is definitely NOT and animated classic. If you check any other classic it will say its a classic on the front and gives you the number on the back. Bolt says Disney PICTURE and does not have a classic number on the back of the box

Hi everybody! That's a really good job, I for my self have been looking for "the real Disney Classics list" and then I found out that in 2008 Walt Disney Animotion Studios actually did it!
Here is the official list:
http://www.disneyanimation.com/aboutus//history.html

As you'll see there isn't at all "The Wild" and after "Fantasia 2000" there is "Dinosaur".
Anyway thank you for trying to make it more clear which ones are Disney Classics as on the net there's not very much info...

The list on this page is correct...although the disney website shows a different list, that is because that list is only of disney animation studio productions, not the list of recognised classics.

My copy of 'the wild' says animated classic 46 on the back and my copy of 'Dinosaur' has no mention of "classic" on the case at all. 'emperor's new groove' just says classic on the front but no mention of what number it is and neither does my 'chicken little'

Fantasia 2000 is definitely 38 and atlantis is definitely 40, and considering emperor's new groove does have the mention of it being a classic. By order of elimination it must mean, although it was produced by disney animation studios...dinosaur is not part of the classic series.

The reason that the wild is not on the official disney website list is that it was not produced by disney, just distributed by them. It was actually produced by C.O.R.E feature animation.

So technically then, there are two different lists...a list for disney animation studio productions which includes Dinosaur and another list for disney classics, which includes The Wild.

So the list above is 100% correct not as the list of disney animated features but indeed as the official list of 'disney classics'.

I have a list that was included with a DVD in 2006 and has upto number 46 on it so i can confirm that up to 46 is correct i can also confirm that 47, 49 and 50 are correct as it says so on the boxes. however BOLT has no mention. However it stands to reason as it falls in about the right place.

I'm pretty sure Bolt is a classic. It would be preposterous if it wasn't.

this is the correct list of disney animated classics for the united kindom however the other list is for america if u hav certain ones on dvd there is the list inside plus not all classics have the numbers on them because it depends on the edition that uve bought and due to the fact tat Disney is an american company the official website will feature the american list however when ubuy ur dvds in england theyll feature the british numbers and the only difference is the wild and dinosaur there is no question about bolt it is defo in the classics collection however some films are numberd differently depending on the collection because dinosaur and the wild are in different places in each collection changing the number of those inbetween them

Considering you haven't included 'Dinosaur' which is an Animated Classic in the United States and isn't here in the UK, I suppose this is the UK Animated Classics list.
The 2011 'Winnie The Pooh' film has been cast aside by Disney UK as a classic, and Wreck-It Ralph is infact Classic No. 51.

I currently own 32 of the Disney Animated Classics Collection (all legitimate may I add too, all bought from The Disney Store or Superstores like Asda and HMV) and the list is perfect apart from Wreck It Ralph which is actually number 51. I don't personally believe that the last Winnie the Pooh is actually numbered at all..the first one is as I have it. I believe Dinosaur is numbered too as my friend is collecting the Blu-Ray versions and it is included in that, so it must be on DVD right?
