BuddyBoy600alt Disney had a long time deal with NBC-TV. This went on since the early 1960's and continued on until 1995 when NBC's contract with Disney expired. Also in 1995, NBC dropped the Saturday Morning block in-favor a Saturday Edition of The Today Show (NBC News show). At the time, Disney had one year contract with CBS. But in 1996, they bought ABC and that is when they introduced "One Saturday Morning."
