I found this info on a KND fansite, and I'm not sure it's true or not, but it's pretty good logic, anyway.

Numbuh One - His name is Nigel Uno. Uno means "One" in Spanish.

Numbuh Two - His real name is Hoagie P. Gilligen Jr. Jr. means he is the 2nd persond to have that name. 2nd = Two

Numbuh Three - Her name is Kuki Sanban. Sanban is the Japaneese word for "Three"

Numbuh Four - His name is Wallabee Beetles. The old but famous rock group, The Beatles, originally had Four members.

Numbuh Five - Her name is Abigail Lincoln. President Lincoln is on the Five dollar bill

glelsey Sounds good to me! :) There's another one I heard (though I'm not sure if it's one Mr Warburton ever actually confirmed). Apparently, Numbuh Two's last name "Gilligan" comes from the series "Gilligan's Island". Because the character Gilligan was SECOND in command. (Although technically Numbuh Five was second in command, but it still makes sense!) Like I said, I don't know how official that one is, but I thought it sounded cool.

Three years ago today, Codename: Kids Next Door came to an end in the United States with it's finale, Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. The show was considered to be one of Cartoon Network's most successful, having run for six full seasons, a feature-length movie and a finale special. While KND was not Cartoon Network's most popular show in terms of quantity of fans, the fans it did have were abnormally dedicated to the show. So, in this article I will summarize some of the reasons why this series was so special.
