Criminal Minds Question

Ian Doyle?

I was watching the episode tonight and at the end when Prentiss was talking to that Sean guy, he mentioned a criminal named Ian Doyle(I think that was his name) escaping. Are we supposed to know who he is? I haven't seen all the episodes before season 4, so I was just wondering if I'm missing something.

I was wondering the same thing. It sounds like a name I've heard that name before on the show but can't really be sure?

jj is coming back for the last episode and all through season 7 as a regular and prentiss might come back i think thats what cbs said

I don't remember an Ian Doyle being an unsub on the show as of yet. In Emily's first few episodes though we learned that she did allot of work outside of the U.S. and since they showed a clip that was in Russia, it may be someone from a case in Emily's past.

No, I don't think we have ever met this character before. I have a feeling it's going to be the beginning of an arc storyline for Prentiss similar to Frank for Gideon and The Reaper for Hotch. That's just my own speculation though. Also depending on if Paget Brewster does leave/gets fired from the show this character will probably be involved with Prentiss' exit. I just hope they don't kill her off. They haven't killed anyone else off yet(except Hailey) so I really hope Prentiss isn't the first.

ya they should have a episode where emily , ian, and the her team all face each other and emily kills ian

the last name Doyle reminds me of the character Francis Doyle from Angel and he was also irish and the name Ian reminds me of that guy that tried to kill Spencer Hastings in Pretty little liars
