The BAU had another afternoon off and Spencer had fallen asleep on his bed. He had his most darkest nightmare yet. He was back in his "dream world" and back in his ghostly form. He saw a man that seemed so familiar to him. "Dad!" he shouted as he recognized the male figure. Mr.Reid just stood there. He didn't move a muscle.
"Dad? What's with you?" Spencer asked. "What's WITH me? I'll tell ya what's with me-your crazy mother." Mr.Reid answered. "Mom is NOT crazy!" Spencer stated angrily. "Yes she IS crazy. You need to face it, Spencer." Mr.Reid argued. Spencer thought for a minute. "You told me you tried to make the marriage work!" he remarked. "THAT was actually a mistake I made on my part." Mr.Reid stated coldly.
"You meant every word of it!" Spencer yelled on the verge of tears. "THAT'S what I wanted you to think, Spencer." Mr.Reid replied. Spencer came to a conclusion. "You're a monster!" he cried. Mr. Reid laughed with no remorse. "I always tried to get you to be normal, Spencer. But you were just like your mother. JUST like her." he mocked in a cold tone. Spencer was now on his knees crying as the ghostly form of his dad vanished. Then... The "real" Spencer woke up screaming at the top of his lungs.
Derek paused the movie he was watching and rushed over to calm him down. "Reid! Reid, it's me!" he declared. Spencer stopped screaming and had a look of guilt on his face. "What's the matter?" Derek asked. "My dad was right. I AM crazy as my mom." Spencer said to himself as he reflected on the nightmare. "Reid, you are the smartest damn guy I've ever known. So is your mama." Derek reassured. "Thanks, Morgan." Spencer thanked.
"It was just a dream." Derek reassured again. Spencer looked down at a blanket. "I'm going to try and relax." he said. He got up and walked to the bathroom. The doc splashed water on his face to clear the paleness up. He lifted his head up and sighed. *I DO need to see a sleep therapist.* he reluctantly thought. He then filled up a glass with water and drank the whole thing within seconds.
"Reid, is everything OK in there?" Derek asked as he knocked on the bathroom door. "Yeah. I'm just getting myself a drink of water." Spencer answered. He walked out of the bathroom with this current nightmare still inside his mind. Derek resumed watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, but Spencer didn't bother to laugh this time. He was BAD distracted this time. He didn't know what to do anymore. What WAS he going to do? He had to wait until he and the BAU left Chattanooga.
