A: “Seriously? There are people who voted for me? I didn’t put that much in the spot during May!” Sorry, that’s kinda my first reaction when I saw it but I am happy that everyone who voted for me. Thank you all for voting for me and wants to learn more about me other than that girl who’s a Hotch fangirl.
Q: So for those of us who aren't that familar with you, tell us a bit about yourself!
A: Hi, everybody. My name is Lina and I’m 19 years old. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA for fifteen years before I moved up to Utica, NY with my family a couple of years ago. I am the middle child of five kids and a first-time aunt to my nephew, Collin. I am taking a break from college as an English major (but I am still working there for my work-study). Also, I am an avid reader and sometimes writer along with a full-time TV-show watcher. I don’t know what to do after college and it’s frustrating but whatever road I get onto, I would be proud about it.
Q: When and why did you start watching Criminal Minds?
A: I think that it was about a year ago and I started watching Criminal Minds because of what had happened between Hotch and The Reaper in the season 4 finale. I heard other good things about the show before that and went searching for some season 1 episodes to get myself started. After watching the Pilot, I got hooked up with the show ever since.
Q: If you could play one character on the show, who would it be and why?
A: EMILY!!!! Because I think that she is awesome and had the coolest job in the world. I also get the chance to be a BAMF and to be near Hotch if I could play her…
Q: You get a chance to meet one cast memeber and ask them only one question. Who would you choose and what would you ask them?
A: I would choose Thomas Gibson and the question that I would ask him: “What’s your favorite thing about your character, Aaron Hotchner?” Hotch is my favorite character in the show and I think that Thomas always does a wonderful job, portraying him. He always seems to put a lot of effort in when he plays Hotch and I really admire that. From this, I might ask him this on Twitter soon to see if this happens.
Q: Which character do you think deserves the next centric episode?
A: I think that JJ deserves the next centric episode. I would love to learn more about her back-story because she seems like a very interesting person to me and I want to know more about her.
Q: If you could pick one guest star to appear in the show, who would it be and why?
A: I think that CM already did that. I always wanted Eric Close to be in the show as a detective or to amuse me, an UnSub. I think that the news about him being in the recent season finale made my day and I think that he did a wonderful job when I finally saw the finale.
Q: Which other TV show would you like Criminal Minds to do a cross-over episode with?
A: Either NCIS or Bones. I don’t know that CM will ever to get to do a cross-over with Bones because they’re in two different networks but with NCIS, it would happen.
Q: Are you going to watch the Criminal Minds re-runs during the Summer break?
A: I don’t know. I seem to fill up my summer break with other TV shows that I wanted to watch but I will try to watch some CM re-runs, probably later in the summer.

Q: What would you say to people who have never watched Criminal Minds before, to persuade them to watch the show?
A: I would say to people that Criminal Minds is like nothing else out there. I get mad when people say that all crime shows are the same but Criminal Minds is different. I think that Criminal Minds is more driven with their characters than other shows. One of my favorite things about CM are their characters and the writers give the characters mostly enough back-story to make them different from each other but they ended up connecting to each other in some way, either that it’s a good moment or bad moment in their lives. The crew of CM doesn’t do that type of stuff lately but I hope that they will manage to put some of that back in the next season.
