"The couple never “goes all the way”; however, so many defend it as a wholesome book. Don’t ever confuse abstinence with chastity; “Twilight” is about sex, plain and simple."

I don't agree with EVERYTHING she says, but she makes a lot of really brilliant points.
EDIT: Also, the first comment defending Twilight is interesting and not in Twi-Speech.
Its rare that I agree with Catholic (or even religious) teachings, but this person speaks sense! And I'm glad that she sees that this book is molding a generation of woman who will search for emotionally abusive and grumpy men to save them. What happened to feminism? Woman don't need to be saved! Especially by such a grumpy and lustful boy!
The worrying thing is, I have a friend who had 2 copies of each of the twilight books, who has read them repeatedly, her mother, father, grandma and cousin have read the books and they are encouraging her obsession by buying her all the merchandise. They took her to see Twilight something like 5 times in he cinema. I'm scared, but she's also started her obsession with One Tree Hill, and while I don't totally agree with OTH its a better obsession for her that Twilight.
