Myf_1992 picked Lampshade:
Bendaimmortal made a pick asking if Twilight is an apropriate title for the book, and everyone, well 100% of voters said no, he also asked, if not what would be better, and so I've made a pick out of those suggestions and some of my own.

Its just a laugh so no offence is, or ever, intended.

I picked Lampshade as Asvini said (paraphrased) "twilight is an irrelavant title, it might as well be called lampshade", and everytime I read the word now, I come out in fits of giggles.

Asvini picked Vampires go Disney:
Vampires go Disney leaves it open for the ending I'm hoping for where Mulan comes in and kicks Edward's sparkly butt. I mean, sure Mulan is from hundreds of years before Twilight starts in a completely different story, but it would still make about as much sense as most Twilight plot points. Come on Stephanie, release that final book and end it with Mulan giving Edward the smackdown. You know you want to. No-one will ever see it coming, talk about a twist ;)

November99 picked Stephenie Meyer meets the Sparkly One:
I offered "Bella meets the Sparkly One".... but "SMeyer meets the Spakly One" is just so much more truthful.

Step away from the thesaurus. I repeat, put the book down.

bendaimmortal picked Lampshade:
Muahahaha. I had to pick this because it's just so darn hilarious and deliciously mocking.

But if taken seriously I think "Obsession" would be the perfect name or at least almost perfect seeing to how the main characters are obsessed and so are majority of the fanbase.

Also "Vampires Go Disney" was wafully tempting for my urge to defend true vamps... and "Sparkle" for the same reason.

I also love SMeyer Meets The Sparkly One, Vamps Go Disney, Lampshade, World Domination, and The Lion Ate The Lamb! But this one is perfect, describes the essence of the book precisely.

renrae picked Stephenie Meyer meets the Sparkly One:
Unfortunately, The lion Ate the Lamb isn't an accurate description of the novel.

But SMeyer isn't doen revising Midnight Sun yet, correct? *tries to remember the corny SoUE tagline*

nevermind606 picked Stephenie Meyer meets the Sparkly One:
I'd also like Vamps Go Disney. Then Bella could meet Simba, and the lion would actually eat the lamb. I just love happy endings! I'm tearing up at the thought. :)

^^^^

That reminds me of the Lion king/Twilight crossover I read that stripped away my childhood from me, waved it in my face, tore it apart and burned it slowly.

Needless to say, anonymous reviews are underated and should be used for their optimum potential.

Awwww. Not the Vampires go Disney... I know Disney has some pretty lame stuff now, but I am in love with all of the classics... they are 1000x better than Twilight :)

LadyLilith picked Mary Sue and the Abusive Vampire:
This pick was HARD to answer. XD All of these titles cracked me up. As did housefrk and nevermind606's comments.

My faves are the one I picked, Forks (sequals being Spoons and Knives), A Vampire And His Volvo, Stephenie Meyer Meets The Sparkly One and The Lion Ate The Lamb. That last one isn't necessarily true, but I would still die laughing if that had actually happened.

...And now I can see Simba eating Bella in my head with the "Circle of Life" song playing. Ah, imagination. If only Meyer had had it....

and anyway would'nt it be so much easier to explain it to the hard-core twilight-is-so-awesome-i'm-inlove-with-it fangirls, that that's all there ever wasto the story if that's was the actual title? i'm thinking yes ;)
