For me book Damon is becoming more and more like Tv Show Damon

that's ridiculous! Elena is a guardian now? First she was a doppelganger, then a vampire then an angel and now she's a guardian? I don't understand I thought she choose Stefan. Now what's this again with the 'she can decide who her heart belong to'?? I don't give a shit!! We fed up with Elena's books! We want Bonnie and Damon!! For me the best book was the Dark Reunion with a lot of Bonnie and no Elena.

Agree with Viky. Elena is the epitome of MarySue, and it's become boring, monotonous and the last person to save Damon. Bonnie, on the other hand would be not only successful but right.

Im ready for new writers in the books and on the telly.

I was reading some where that Damon and Elena will not be endgame in the books it will be Stefen and Elena... because the orginal author wanted it to be Delena however her publisher didn't want any more Delena or Bonnie and that's why she got the boot...

Either way you slice it I don't think I will be reading the book or anymore for that matter. Fanfiction are much better then anything the book writers or Tv writters could come up with :D

Im not bloody manky reading this bull hog wash, No flippin way mates. I can not believe the ghost writer is writing this BS after all the stuff that Stefan went through to get Princess Worlena we now get her torned again. Something manky tells me that Stefan is the obivous bloody offering? If this is true then rubish! I call foul this is manky rubish!!! I for one will not be reading this unless one ya mates tell meh this is actual a turn around.

And now Elena is having issues with her heart again? Wow, how unoriginal. The girl doesn't know what she wants. Sad thing is... I actually had hope for the books. I actually miss L.J Smith.

AngelusB me too mate, at least she gave Bamon fans crumbs once in awhile everything always seems to evolved around Dumb Entertaiment and no offense but Nian too. Im flippin tired of their jackroo faces. Please let Elame die and have Stefan with Medrieth and Bamon together!!!!!!!

"Elena must decide how much-and who-she's willing to give up" and Bonnie on the cover = for God's sake. If they decide to kill Bonnie I will rage. I mean, she's the most adorable and innocent.

On a positive side maybe she won't die but then what would her role in the least book be, she wan't mentioned in the synop. I remember that the cover of the second book had Matt on the cover and he had a big part in the plot.(At the least this is what I understood 'cuz I haven't read the book). I think Bonnie will also have a big part in this. Maybe Bonnie offers as sacrifice and Elena is okey with it and when Damon finds out it will be too late and he will try to save her. Or maybe he will just fight with Elena.
But let's hope for the best. It can't be that bad, can it?

Maybe Elena might sacrifice herself, because hopefully she wouldn't want to do that to one of her friends, but if she does, it will show what kind of person she is.
All this guardian, business is just cr*p. They are just trying to make her more important to the story line, without having to rely on just the triangle, so that she will have more depth, but her character changed so many times I could not keep up, so when she died, came back as a vampire, then an angel with wings of power or whatever and now a guardian, her "importance" in the book was lost to me. I think L.J tried to hard with giving her another angle, to try to ensure that she always remains front and centre in the book, but she should have just kept Elena's character simple and the only changes made, should have been her personality, to show that she's growing as a person. Though L.J has put it across like Elena is a nicer person, I still can't come to grips with that, because I still see her as the same girl from the first book.
I probably will read this book, as I have the other ones, but am not eager, like the previous books before.

@Realist1 I bloody agree mate, her character keep changing personas as a junkie changes new fixes. I had high hopes for the last book but now I'm manky scared because what if Bamon does not happen but instead we get some bullhog of a Bonnie last minute self sarfice crap? All I will say is "Pint meh mate" because this would become complete rubish!

in the first book bonnie said that her grandmother predicted that she would die young. so i think bonnie is going to be that sacrifice. either her or stefan or damon. if elena chooses to sacrifice one of the salvatores that will solve this 'damon or stefan' distbute. TEAM DAMON!!!!!!!
