Damon & Elena Question

i was so damn excited for season six, but after hearing nina's new spoiler....suddenly im not so sure anymore...??

your probs wondering what im talking about right? well there is this new spoiler that has been released about season six, and its about the show taking a whole new turn, apprantely according to nina, there are going to be new characters who will *fill the void* of the ones left behind, and that it will be like history will be rewritten..or some bullshit like that...i know i may be making a big fuss over nothing, but...what if she's right....? would the writers really go there?? i really hope not...god, and i was totally looking forward to season six as well!! now, im seriously reconsidering even watching it.

She didn’t talk about Delena, but instead about the things around them. And there will be more new locations outside Mystic Falls this year; a big part of the cast can’t even have any scenes in the town at the start of S6. They by the way say each year that the show will be completely new in the following season, and that also annoys me each time, but things usually work out. I for example have never liked a longer TV show in its college phase, but TVD became the exception, because despite the plot holes and forced storylines, I truly liked S5. And the new characters will replace the ones that vanished with the Other Side for good. I am worried about even more undeveloped characters, but that has also already been done for several years now. But I don’t care about much apart from DE anyway, and I am honestly not worried about Delena and about them ending up together.

I think the hiatus is really unsettling people. With nothing happening people let their fears get the better of them. I think this happens every new season, but before you decide to pull the plug prematurely, I would just suggest that you wait and see. Even IF the Season premiere is terrible, things could always pick up after that. The cast have a tendency to say stuff they know will stir the fans up. But they don't write the show. Besides, S6 won't have been completed yet, so Nina doesn't know what direction it will ultimately go in. Even if it starts one way, that doesn't mean to say that's how it'll end. TVD has a million different sub-plots, and it's well known to change direction fast. I wouldn't take what she said to heart.

Remember Aaron? They said he was going to have a strong bond with Elena, making us think he'd come between her and Damon? Eventually, there was nothing between Aaron and Elena. He wasn't even there long enough for me to care about him. What I'm saying is, writers and actors have a tendency to say things that are open for (wrong) interpretation.
