Re-watched the hug scene and I was right. This moment is not in it. It seems like they've cut a few DE scenes out this season - the 'It's OK to love them both', the scene of Damon showing Elena something on his phone in 2x11 which was also posted here, and now this. They should be included in the deleted scenes on the S2 dvd, but could it be that the writers want to make Elena's feelings for Damon even more of a surprise when they're finally revealed?
