Despite the fact that I occasionally find him dull when he's being "good Stefan," it's hard to deny what was said at the very beginning of the pilot -- this is his story. Elena will probably choose Damon at the end of the season, and she may choose Damon forever, but this has always felt like Stefan's story.

New web clips r showing loads of SE and no DE which sucks but at the same time could be avoiding showing us any to avoid spoiling it to much for us. They wouldnt show pics from end of episode but beginning and middle. There might be one hell of a good DE scene. There are more DE fans than other other ship and they can't afford to string us along forever. Even if she does choose Stefan, she can't forget about that hot kiss with Damon in 3x19. It will stay with her. SE hasn't had that kind of passion since season 1, which is why I jumped that ship and hopped on the DE one to begin with. The chemistry there is unbelieveable and can't be ignored. Besides, the longer they take to get together, the more right and lasting their bond will be when it happens.

From new preview clip screen caps we all now know that Elena calls Stefan when she needs help and it could be at beginning of episode and not the end. She gives him a hug when kinda sucks for us but remember we still have rest of episode for a Damon and Elena scene we want to see. Guys, I'm almost sure Elena is going to turn in the next episode. It makes sense, if the only way for Alaric to die is for Elena to die, then if she "died" to become a vampire, Alaric would still die (I'd hope!) and then voila, Elena would be a vampire and still live! I've seen some people freaking out over the new Ian interview 'cos he more or less said that S1 Damon is coming back, so Elena probably doesn't choose him or something, (that's how I saw it anyway). What IF, he becomes POSESSED (like he did in the books) and that introduces the new enemy (new villain for S4?) but Elena could still technically choose him before he became possessed...
