probably you're right. but healthy relationships are not for tv shows because they're boring. tv shows need passionate, flamy, dramatic love and that's what Chuck and Blair have :D

Boring? Maybe for your taste! The passion is important but not enough because someday it will be over but love and respect are the reasons that one relationship stays strong and healthy! And this is the type of love that TV have to show, not wrong patterns! Also God it is not everything about sex because for me this is Chuck&Blair!

WOW. Just wow... it doesn't surprise me though. While i was looking for a picture of Ed & Jess [Vanessa] for a series of picks i did with my friend Ale, i came across some Chair site and there was a whole section dedicated to bashing Jess. They called her all sorts of mean, hurtful names, made up stupid rumors, etc.

Unfortunately there are just a lot of Chair/LeighEd fans that genuinely seem to have psychological issues. I'm honestly not trying to be a smart ass, or be bitchy, I'm truly concerned for the mental health of some of these people. Like the "Chair factory" postings that Eli [backtoblack] posted on the previous page - those legitimately seem like the ramblings of a delusional person.

I feel VERY concerned about the people who ship CB when I read some stuff they come out with. I'm not saying that all Chair fans are crazy, because they're not. It's unfair to generalise and say they're all like that, but for some reason, the Dair romance has really brought out the worst in some of them. I can't even watch a GG promo on YouTube without reading comments from pro-Chair/anti-Dair shippers turning the whole thing into an argument by their antics. And it's ridiculous they will rate a vid down because it features Dair. I mean, they haven't even seen the episode yet. If they hate Dair so much, why don't they just stop watching? Personally, I don't see how CB shippers would want Blair to get back together with Chuck after she'd rejected him for Dan.

Leighton and Ed aren't dating. And during the earliest seasons of GG, they were both dating other people. CB fans have no right or reason to go nuts when Leighton is spotted with a guy who has a beard. And they have absolutely no say in who she dates in real life. Leighton and Ed AREN'T Blair and Chuck. They should respect they're playing fictional characters, and as such, respect their private lives and personal relationships.

The argument for Chair based on lust, sex, Chuck's experience in the bedroom concerning hookers etc, is laughable on one level, and terribly sad on another. I find it tragic that teenage girls can judge a relationship as 'good' based on those things. Love, trust, respect, friendship, loyalty, putting the person you love before yourself - that has nothing to do with it? Seriously? Are those same girls really telling us that they would rather have a relationship with a guy who is good in the bedroom but treats you like crap in every other respect? GG might only be a TV show and not reflect reality, but that doesn't mean that it can't/doesn't espouse any sort of moral principles whatsoever. Even as a Chair shipper during Seasons 1 and 2 (and a bit of 3), I never felt comfortable that Chuck slept with call girls. I could certainly never justify it, let alone declare that Chuck must be better at keeping Blair happy in the bedroom department because of all his sexual exploits and use that as a licence for why they should be a couple. The fact that Chuck has slept with all these woment is a BAD THING. To say that he must be better in bed because of it is a stupid thing to say. So basically, in order to be good in bed you need to sleep with loads of people first? To be honest, I can't help but worry for these girls who justify Chuck/CB on these grounds.

Hey it's been a while since people ranting in here, only couple of weeks before the finale and on the next eps there will be a lot of chair scene, so chair fans came back with full force, can I rant a bit?

have you heard that josh safran got fired from Gossip Girl because shipping dair:

first of all, he's leaving on his own, he got a better job, he will became one of smash's producer (my condolences to smash viewer), the show is pretty hot right now, who wouldn't want that?

second I remember last season he was defending chair with all his got, remember the infamous interview? I always though he like chair the most, when he he gave dair "they found each other" interview, I was really surprised, yes he seem like dair (who can resist them, really?) but he also the same guy who said "chuck and blair never over" so I don't think he's shipping any couple, he like them all

and third I really like this picture and they destroy it by putting safran face (so creepy) and that tagline,ugh :(

I can't wait for this triangle to be over, chair fans keep getting on my nerve

I am so tired of the Dair hate and the dan hate and that everyone wants the NJBC endgame.
