Dark Shadows Helena Bonham Carter as Julia Hoffman in Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" (2012)

Her bolero jacket has an 80's print (had a shirt with those swirls, then) with late 90's black border piping around the neckline and front. The sleeves are recalling both the puffed and the layered looks of the '72-75 seasons. All in all, not what one would expect Julia Hoffman to wear. Perhaps, she is going to a Tim Burton party?

Someone mentioned on one of the Facebook groups that the hint of cleavage is surprising. I guess it is because Dan Curtis was always so keen on Julia dressing like a frump. But this Julia fan loves it, although I suspect I will hate the new movie in general.
