Does anyone know what the tattoo on David's right wrist means?

Since i've started watching bones i've noticed it and i just wonder what it stands for or what it says. Good question right guys LOL!

wow that's really beautiful. i love the meaning and symbolism behind the tattooes. my question is, and i adore david boreanaz, why is he cheating on his wife of 8 years?

don't know what the link is saying but I've been told both David and his wife has it, and yes it is some kind of 'soul made' like tatoo, and David and his wife has them so they are 'connected' when they hold hands
