Rose was the best assistant Doctor Who has ever had!!!! Billie Piper played that role amazingly, Martha was a really bad assistant to the Doctor because she can't solve anything without the Doctors help!!!

i think freema was more useful as a "trainee doctor" (bad pun intended) but Rose being more streetwise was more fun and was very human and i think that is what made her work so well with eccleston as she had a lot to teach him (altho she worked well with tennant as well, looking forward to 3 femaile companions this season)

I miss Rose, but it had to be Martha. Hey, when does the new season start???????
