Part 2: Mysterious Foe

"Ladies and gentleman! It's time for our next match!" The announcer shouted, getting the crowd all fired up as Piccolo (Majunior) and Shin faced each other. "And . . . BEGIN!!"

But both fighters simply stood there, not even slipping into fighting stances. Piccolo was trying to figure out just who this Shin was by using his psychic powers to try and dig through his mind.

A Son's Regret

Gohan sat in the corner of his room, his head bowed, knees pulled tightly against his chest.

His father was gone. He'd died for their planet. He'd died to defeat Cell, a job that was supposed to be his.

He felt terrible, a deep pit feeling in his stomach . . . empty, an eternal loss.

He was supposed to kill Cell, not so show all sorts of sadism, and claim that the monster needed to suffer more. That wasn't his place to decide.

The way his dad had looked at him when he'd said that . . . . Gohan punched at the ground below him, squeezing his eyes shut as...

The story starts on Kami's lookout, where you see Goku and Vegeta talking.

Vegeta: Forget it Kakarot!!!!! Fusion is not happening again!!!! There is no reason for it, so why bother?

Goku: Vegeta, an enemy that we don't even know about could be on their way or already here that is much stronger than us, so we need to get stronger by any means, and training while in fusion will help us.

Vegeta: It was bad enough against Buu, against that ugly freak we fought in hell, and Omega Shenron!!! There is no reason for us to fuse anymore. There is nothing or no one on this planet who can cause us a threat....

Summary: In the future, they may be blood-thirty, savage robots, but they've still got a schedule to keep. Enter how 17 and 18 spend their average day in the future, from breakfast (everyone gets hungry, you know), to having to beat that annoying kid with the metal stick into the dirt.

A/N: Hmm... well, like I said, a typical day for the androids. Only made into a humor. Trunks would be so mad at me if he saw how nonchalant I made his living nightmare. Oh, well. I loved writing this anyway. It's mostly dialogue though, I'd say....
