Debbie Harry

I know she is! She is one of the loveliest people I have EVER had the privilege of meeting! I met Deborah Harry, outside Plymouth Pavilions, many years ago now. I was the only one there! It wasn't long before their coach arrived and Deborah was the last of the band members to step off! I saw all of them but was intrigued to meet Deborah, how she liked to be called still I hope, back then...I asked if I could shake her hand and she immediately did this. How sweet of her! I was astounded by her utter politeness.

Not only does Debbie have the most beautiful voice, but damn, she was so terribly cute! i only listened to country music until I heard "Heart of Glass". I listened to it over and over for days.
I was hooked. Still my favorite song of all time! After 40 + years, I am still infatuated! Damn, what a beauty, but it was and still is the voice! ( Well, she is beautiful, too!, I was 14. )
Parallel Lines was a turning point for me. I fell in love with music, and with Blondie. one of the greatest bands of all time. Stein is fabulous, but it is the voice of Debbie that makes it all work. Still gives me shivers, after all of these years. The only blond that I will ever be in love with. And with that voice, I always will be!
Debbie, keep me rocking! And thank you for all of your hard work. I still love the shivers of perfection that "Heart of Glass" gives me. You and Chris were perfect!
