A couple of fake spoilers we've heard throughout the years. For those of us who read them and can remember how ridiculous and odd some got.
There are the TOP 10:

1. Victor was going to die in the tornado - leading to Gaby becoming Governor.
2. MJ would die at the close of Season 5 and Susan would be committed in a mental institution for the final moments of the finale.
3. Art (the pedophile) would return to kidnap some of Lynette's children in the Season 4 Finale.
4. Bree would give Danielle's baby to Bob & Lee and they'd run away with the baby after she said she miscarried.
5. Katherine was going to lose her new love (Mike) in the fire.
6. Dave was going to kill Jackson because of what he witnessed at the nightclub.
7. Susan would lose her new baby during the 5 year jump (rumored before the season 4 finale ended).
8. Dave was really Mrs. McCluskey's son.
9. Xiao-Mei was rumored to bring in the mystery for Season 3.

Episode 4-9 ''Something's Coming" December 2

Written by Joey Murphy and John Pardee; directed by David Grossman

A tornado’s on the way! ABC describes the episode as the most elaborate episode DH has ever produced. The people of Wisteria Lane are forced into basements, safe rooms, and cellars. This is the first of a two-parter, but thanks to the strike, it's unclear when the next episode will air. Multiple people are killed in the episode, and by episode's end, lives may still hang in the balance.

Sylvia (Big Love's Melora Walters) makes a second appearance. Katherine spits in her face. Katherine learns the truth about Adam and Sylvia and it's much worse than she believed.

A boy named Chad tries to take advantage of the tornado coming by selling Edie bottled water. She learns Carlos and Gabrielle are packing to move, and not because of the tornado. Victor and Carlos fight. Edie gets her hands on the file concerning Carlos' embezzled money, but Gabrielle breaks into Edie's home and faces off against her nemesis. The file gets blown away by the wind, and Gabrielle and Edie may be the next to be...

Desperate Housewife Lynette Scavo, a portrayal made famous by actress Felicity Huffman, will lose one of her five children during this year’s season finale, tabloid moles for The National Enquirer say:

“Eva Longoria made noises early in the season about leaving and moving to San Antonio to be with her NBA husband, Tony Parker, and Nicolette Sheridan’s eternally disgruntled - but they’re both coming back next season. So the producers, desperate for drama, turned to Lynette’s family. The death of her child will really amp up the tragedy and emotion her character will suffer in the season finale.”

I'll be honest I never really liked Edie. She was the part of Wisteria Lane's life, but I'm sure not many of us can call her our "favourite one". But I changed my mind. As far as you know Edie died in episode 19 season 5. All I have to say has already been said in the end of the episode. But I feel sorry for that I never liked her. Edie Breet was great. I wish I understood it earlier.
Gabby: Edie Breet was sexy.
Bree: Presumptive.
Lynnette: Strong.
Mrs. McCluskey: Beautiful.
Susan: One of a kind.
Edie: And that is how Wisteria Lane came to be my final resting place. My ashes were spread on a grass I've once walked on, beneath the trees that have once given me the shade, on top of roses I've once admired, and beside fences I've once gossiped over. And after my friends finished saying Good Bye a wind came along and took what was left of me into the air. As I looked down on the world I began to let go of it. I let go a white packed fences, cars and driveways, coffee cups and vacuum cleaners. I let go all those things which seems so ordinary but when you put them together they make up a life. Life that really was one of a kind. I'll tell you...

I would like to congradualate Katherine Joosten (i think thats her name lol) for winning the emmy for guest star actress, on the 21st of september, 2008, shown on the 60th annual emmy awards. she was the only desperate housewives related actor/actress who won an emmy this year. i never thought that joosten would win an emmy, i hafto admit. but she does a fantastic job playing Karen McClusky, an elderly lady on Wisteria Lane. In the first season, i loved it when she was having a mini war with Lynette Scavo. Another thing that i love about her character, is when she says "crap!" i mean, how often do elderly ladies say things that are out of their field? oh, and another thing, i loved it how the writers gave her her own story line

thats it.

As shown in the last minutes of the second half of the two-hour season four finale, season five will take place five years into the future. Due to the time jump, several actors won't be returning to the show. The child actors will not be back (i.e. the Scavo children), and some of the teen actors, Lyndsy Fonseca (Dylan) and Andrea Bowen (Julie), will also not be returning to Wisteria Lane (although their characters may). Shawn Pyfrom (Andrew), however, will be staying on the show, and as shown in the time jump. He is now Bree's assistant. Although Joy Lauren (Danielle) was not shown in the season four finale, she will also be back very soon and not in flashback. James Denton, who plays Mike, told People magazine that he will definitely be returning in season 5. However, "Mike and Susan have definitely split up".[38] Nicollette Sheridan, who plays Edie, has been confirmed to return next season, and will also be bringing with her a new husband, played by Neal McDonough, who is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives as a series regular.

According to the article published in link

We knew that one fallout of the shocking 5 year leap on Desperate Housewives would be the loss of or recasting of certain characters on the show.

It seems that one of these instances will be with Susan's daughter Julie, played by Andrea Bowen.

Bowen first thought that she might have to cut her hair or something, in an attempt to look older; she was completely surprised when she learned that her character was being removed from the show entirely. Teri Hatcher - who plays her TV mother Susan - was really upset about this news and has said, "This is a totally producer/network decision that I have nothing to do with, and I guess I can go out on a limb and say I don't support."

Says Marc Cherry, the show's creator, "We'll have her back at some point. Maybe when she's older, who knows? She might get married and become a desperate housewife on the Lane." But for now...will you guys miss Julie or do you think her story has played out??

First word was not promising for the supposedly recuperating but "majorly injured" Desperate Housewives star Gale Harold to be returning to work soon. But things may not be quite as reported.

"He's really very majorly injured," remarked a source close to both Harold and the Desperate Housewives set. "I don't believe he'll be coming back."

When Desperate Housewives central was contacted, there was no comment regarding the too sad news. However, other sources close to the production (whom creator Marc Cherry just surprised announcing that he wants to stay around for seasons eight and nine), told us, "We have an open door for Gale" to return.

Harold's rep insisted there's nothing to be concerned with regarding her client: "He is fine. Your source is wrong," the publicist stated. When asked to elaborate on exactly what Harold's condition is and whether or not the supernice stud is headed back to Wisteria Lane, she refused comment.

I hear that door ain't gonna be swingin' for some time. Heal fast, Gale, we all miss ya!

Episode 4-7 ''You Can't Judge a Book By Its Cover" November 11

Written by Chuck Ranberg and Anne Flett-Giordano; directed by David Warren

Lynette's sisters Lydia (Sarah Paulson) and Lucy (Carrie Preston) arrive. They're unhappy for having had to take care of their mother for the past 9 years. Lynette's mom has a gentleman friend her age, and they end up having a night together in the Scavo home. Lynette's not happy to meet him. Look for Lynette's mom's man to stick around for another episode. Lynette and her sisters discuss what to do with their mother; while the sisters want to put her in an old folks home, Lynette doesn't care for that idea.

A disagreement arrives over the circumcision of Bree's/Danielle's baby. When a doctor refuses to perform it, based on a letter supposedly from the baby's father, a new plan must be made. A mohel agrees to perform the circumcision if Bree raises the baby Jewish.

A young girl (age 3-5) is snatched from her bed in the middle of the night. Our best bet is that this is a flashback, and the girl is Dylan, but nothing has been confirmed.

Episode 4-6 "Now I Know, Don't be Scared" November 4

Written by Susan Nirah Jaffee and Dahvi Waller; directed by Larry Shaw

There’s a Halloween party on Wisteria Lane at Bob and Lee's house. Katherine talks to Larry (Patrick Bristow), a slightly tipsy friend of Lee’s. She asks the man about Lee, as she’s heard the person in question was a child actor. Did his career end because of drugs or prison? No, but she learns Lee moved to a different end of the film industry. The woman pours the gossip another drink in hopes of learning more. Was Lee in . . . porn?

Danielle shows up at the party dressed as a very pregnant Bree and hopefully no one's about to discover she's actually pregnant! Danielle gives birth, to a boy. Adam helps with the delivery. Everyone's in costume, including Andrew in drag, Orson as Little Lord Fauntleroy, Bob and Lee as pirates, Katherine as Marie Antoinette, and Adam as Frankenstein's monster. Look for Bree to make Adam keep quiet about what he knows about the baby's mother.

Nicolette Sheridan
Nicolette Sheridan has been celebrating after finding out that she is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Michael Bolton, according to reports.

The Desperate Housewives actress, who got engaged to singer Bolton last year, has been asking co-stars Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross about pregnancy and motherhood.

A source said: "She's absolutely glowing and her pregnancy is the buzz of the set.

"She kept asking Felicity and Marcia about how the pregnancy would change her appearance and if it would make her hair thinner."

Sheridan recently spoke about wanting to start a family, saying: "I don't know how I'd have time to deal with it, but being a mum is so special. Of course, if it happened, I would just make time!"

Locals will be seeing a lot more of West Newbury native Todd Grinnell, who landed a role on NBC's "Desperate Housewives" after starring on NBC's short-lived series "Four Kings" with Seth Green and Josh Cooke.

"It's a neat experience to be on a show that's got this many viewers — people just love it," Grinnell said. "It's a totally fun role to play, and Marcia Cross, Kyle MacLachlan and Shawn Pyfrom, who I've been mostly working with, are outstanding actors and people. Everyone is totally welcoming, and it's a real treat to work with everyone."

"In the second episode, it was revealed that my character on 'Desperate Housewives' did an adult movie to put himself through med school," Grinnell said. "That's been a source of fodder for my friends. And last night at the supermarket, the bagger looked over at me and said 'I saw your video,' and we had a laugh."

Though he suffered the shows and pilots been cancelled, Todd says "Wouldn´t trade acting for anything. "It's not an easy path," Grinnell said. "But to me, it's the greatest job in the world."

Gale Harold was in critical condition Wednesday after the "Desperate Housewives" actor crashed his motorcycle the day before, a hospital spokeswoman said. Harold was awaiting further tests at USC Medical Center, spokeswoman Adelaida De La Cerda said. She gave no further details on his injuries.

Publicist Nancy Seltzer said Wednesday that Harold fractured his shoulder, and "Housewives" creator and executive producer Marc Cherry said he apparently has swelling on the brain but is expected to recover. "We're hearing he's going to be fine, but he's going to be recovering for a couple of weeks," Cherry said.

Selzer said no one else was injured, but did not provide further details on the Tuesday wreck, which was first reported by TMZ. The California Highway Patrol said it had no information about the accident. Harold plays Jackson, the boyfriend of Teri Hatcher's character Susan Mayer on the ABC show. The character plays a pivotal role in the fifth season's eighth episode, a November sweeps installment which finds several Wisteria Lane residents trapped inside a nightclub fire.

**I love the show, but some things bug me. Take no offense to the following statement***

They should change the shows name to Desperate Hags!
Not one of those ladies, besides Eva has remotely aged gracefully. The Golden Girls had more sex appeal! I think they need to contact Susan Lucci's lighting director and stop shooting in HD. Not to mention Brian looks like a old B. A. G. I know he is not that old, but his forehead looks like a road map. I am all for aging gracefully, and not getting "dental work" done, but come on....

How many times are they gonna try to sell Bree as a sexy lady, she is neither sexy nor a lady, gets more tail than toilet seat! Come on, she has as much sex appeal as a lawn tractor. At least everyone else has had the same marriage for longer than a few minutes.

Oh and I love how poor Mike and Susan are, yet she is till using a Dyson 1,500$ vacuum. They need to research on this show and find out what poor is.

She’s tried before and failed, but she’s willing to try again. Even if it means undergoing plastic surgery to get there. She has tried to be on “Desperate Housewives” before, as Susan’s mother, but lost the role to Lesley Ann Warren. Joan thinks that if it’s her looks that are the problem, she’d happily go under the knife to become beautiful once more. Surely I can’t be the only who thinks that this all sounds a touch too “desperate”? As she says, “‘Desperate Housewives’ is one of the best things ever to hit television. I’d jump at a television series.” You have to admit, the show sounds exactly like something that would be up her alley. Surely they can find SOME sort of part for her, I’d think.

The present treatise generally incorporates the matter about Indian Gods and Goddesses of Indian Art and Literature. The Iconographical representation of the Indian Gods & Goddesses, as glimpsed from the Archaeological findings and temple architecture is one aspect and the literary evidences found in our vast Indian literature of Vedic, Epic and Puranic period is the other aspect of the book. Both these aspects delineated in this book give us perfect picture and historical development of Indian Mythology of Gods and Goddesses. The literary and textual material, when illustrated with the iconographical representations becomes more relevant and complete. The subject-matter is nicely and systematically arranged here and historical sequence is well maintained by narrating the Vedic, Epic and Puranic deities. The Mythological concept of Trimurti (Brahma, Visnu, Siva) as depicted in the Epics and Puranas is elaborately discussed in the work. Not only the Hindu, but also Jain and Buddhist Mythology are separately treated in this book. Thus, the book is a kind of Encyclopedia on Indian Mythology, since it has covered almost all the aspects of it. A number of illustrations/figures of...
