Nero is a Main Protagonist in Devil May Cry 4. He's practiccly a Dante wannabe/ Emo child that gets angsty over anything, He pretty much can't do anything by himself since he has a demonic arm that does most of the work.... There is a theory that Nero's arms in possessed by Dante's twin brother Vergil.

Wrong Nero is a remnant of the Dark knight Sparda him self but in no way is he related to him nor virgil OR Dante he was born half human and half demon the fact that he can wield yamato and use virgils spirit cannot be explained.

hes not a wanna be, dante hasnt alway been he mature thoughout dmc saga . nero has find his way in dmc saga . not so much touchie about it, but of respect of characters. nero could never be dante any form of way. totally different from each other.
Nero is Vergil's son. Vergil payed a visit to a lucky lady years before, but after his death in DMC1, use's Nero's arm to aide his son "beyond the grave". Devil May Cry 5's story will again have Nero as the main guy, and the player will choose whether or not Nero will follow his father's dark path to gain power or if he will aide Dante as humanity's protector.
OKAY SO HERE IS THE REAL STORY!!!Nero is a member of the Order of the Sword.He got his arm by being attacked and knocked out.When he wakes up his arm is in a sleage.What he doesn't know is that he has a demon arm.So Nero leaves from the hospital and fights more demons on his way back.He then goes back to the Order of the Sword and as you know meets Dante as he hops in on the leaders speech.As Dante and Nero fight, he discovers his arm.What he doesn't know that he is an Angel/Demon.He figures it out when Credo tells him that he is and angel and Dante tells him he is a Devil.For the record Nero is not a Dante wannabe,he just has a resemblence to him,if that case Leon Belmont from Castlevania Lament of Innocence is a Nero wannabe.That is all fact and no opinion.You can say I'm wrong or you can say I'm right,doesn't matter because I know what I am.
