“Hey! Hey, wait up!”

Belle turned to see the girl with the very, very, very long blonde hair hurrying towards her. She had it all bundled up and was carrying it in her hands, on top of all her school supplies. She had a pencil stuck behind her ear, Belle noticed. Behind her trailed the girl with wild red hair.

“Hey!” the blonde girl beamed. “It’s Belle, right?”

“Right.”

The girl stuck out a hand and shook Belle’s vigorously. “I’m Rapunzel but most people call me Punz or Punzy. I just heard you’re joining the Book Club?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

Prince Proteus sat in his room, staring out of the window. Once again he found himself confined to this place, like a naughty child, guarded and forbidden to leave by his father, King Dymas. The thing was, however, he hadn’t actually done anything wrong; other than refuse one again to marry a woman that his father had picked out for him. There was nothing wrong with Penelope; she was pretty enough and kind and rather funny, although her laugh was somewhat nasal and she found stories to be rather dull and she lacked a sense of adventure and she was somewhat ditzy, but sweet.     A week passed by, and things are kind of strange. The boys are fine, but Angel is kind of acting weird. Every night for this week she's been waking up screaming in the middle of the night. I keep asking if she wants to talk about it but she keeps saying no. However tonight is the last straw; I need to get some sleep without hearing someone scream. Tonight I went straight to her room and I wasn't going to take no for an answer. She didn't scream yet but it was about time for her to scream. She screamed and jumped straight up with her long loose hair flying in the air....

Proteus raises Kida's head with his hand, trying so hard to wake her up. "Kida," he starts. "Please...wake up." The prince of Syracuse whispers into Kida's ear. Kida starts to open her eyes slowly. Proteus grabs a crystal from his jacket pocket. He had taken a necklace when they ventured to Atlantis. Proteus ties the crystal around Kida's neck.
