Disney Princess Question

Is Eric related to Princess Aurora and Prince Philip?

During the dining scene where Ariel has her dinner with Eric on her first night on land, the potrait on the left resembles Philip and Aurora. Is he related to them or the producers deliberately put them there to remind people that Sleeping Beauty was the last Fairy Tale movie that Disney made?

The couple looks to be aged a little so it very well could be Phillip and Aurora. So I think it is very possible that they are related or that it is a little extra that the animators put in on purpose.

Sorry but I don't see hpw that old woman in the purple dress looks like aurora. Also "Phillip" on the painting- looks like he's wearing glasses. I don't see how this at all looks like them.
